hello Zig Forums. i have a little over $1,000 capital in my bank account thanks to the stimulus. this is a lot of money for me.
i am a 35 yr old NEET living at home with parents. i dont want to get into my life story other than to say mental illness is a bitch.
how can i turn this thousand bux into many thousands of bux? i'm interested in investing, more like traditional stocks/bonds rather than crypto, and if i can make enough money that way, start investing in real estate.
i know i can't rely on my parents forever (though i am paying rent right now out of my disability) nor do i want to.
can anyone just point me in the right direction of what brokerage firm to use, what are some good books to read, advice, anything. are any Cannabis companies good investments??
state your mental illness. I'm going to guess it's autism.

Don think about those intrusive thoughts. No dont do it. Not that nasty one.

>bonds
You won't get rich off bonds. You can expect a return of 0-2% or maybe 3-5% if you buy debt of risky companies.
>stocks
You can get some more returns here, maybe 6-9% a year if you buy the SPX, more if you are a great stock picker. But turning 1000 into thousands will take decades
Evan Bennett
You want something solid like 10 year bonds if you're going for turning 1k into many thousands.

Hate to have to put it this way, but you're too poor to be in the stock market. Maybe you can gamble on two baggers in the penny stock sphere, but you don't get the first set of 'unlocks' until you reach $25,000. Then you can lever up and margin trade. The next unlock is 100k, where your margin rate goes down, and paying the brokerage fee on options is inconsequential because you are buying volume.
With only 1k, you really should focus on immediate expenses for your next month, and perhaps some formal financial education if there is anything left over. Sorry if that is not what you wanted to hear.

First step to improve your life: Stop gaming.

>Stop gaming
because it's an unproductive waste of time? i agree but what's a more profitable way to spend one's time other than wagecuckery
What? It is objectively not. Working teaches you discipline which you obviously lack. Never going to make it. The wagecuck threads on here are all ironic anyway
Kevin Watson
i'm supposed to take life advice from someone who thinks gaming is productive fuck off faggot

Setup an etrade account. Deposit the $1100. Place a limit buy order on SQRMF(TAAL). Set your limit price at $0.85. Be patient as it will strike this price in July. Leave $600 cash in the account and buy only $500 worth. If price drops to $0.60 buy more with your remaining $600. Await retirement in 3 years.
Joshua Martinez
Open robinhood account, buy a July put for SPY at $230

>treatment-resistant Major Depressive Disorder So youre sad?
You can get 20-30% compounding returns with a mix of stock and bond 3x ETFs. Look up hedgefundie's excellent adventure and read through the two threads entirely, every potential downside of the strategy has been discussed to death multiple times. You don't have shit to your name right now so I'd go all in until 5 digit net worth then start diversifying with other strategies.
