Lots of stock like PK, FUN, MGM etc. are moving up - but aren't they going to crash again hard in 3-6 months once the dividends are cut since they've all taken a massive hit in profit this year?
People are propping them back toward pre-COVID prices, but it doesn't make sense to me because revenue/profit is all fucked up.
MGM for example - was paying about 6% dividend up until they weren't - now it's 0.06%... but it still goes up... so are people just buying up, hoping shit gets back to normal 1-2 years from now, and hoping the dividend comes back up to the 6% range?
Or is the entire market just full of speculators, trying to buy low, sell high, without regard for logic?
