No. When LINK/USD is breaking out and BTC drops, that means LINK/BTC is going to go up. It looks like it's about to bounce off of the trendline anyway. Wouldn't feel comfortable going into BTC now.

Most of the time, alts move in sync with bitcoin. But why does this seem to be the opposite for Link? Why does it pump when BTC dumps and vice versa?

Obviously because chainlink succeeding is bad for other crypto, and other crypto succeeding is bad for chainlink. They're mutually exclusive. It's winner takes all. And the winner shall be Chainlink

Isn't chainlink synergistic since it can work in coordination with other blockchains or whatever?

I mean BTC is about to Golden Cross on the Daily chart if that means anything to you. Its $6 dollar difference between the MA 50 and 200. Weirdly it dumps usually right after the cross and then moons hard a few days to a week after
