Regretting not selling more of my stack when it hit almost $4. I'm thinking rocket pool will just stagnate for a few weeks/months before we get any significant price action. Any RPL news that I'm not aware of cumming soon?
Should I sell my RPL for ETH?
vitalik's "not in july" and the crazy dude obsessed with RPL on Zig Forums seem to have stopped its upward trajectory but i still think it will increase in value a lot as ETH 2.0 gets closer. when that will be, nobody knows.
both ETH and RPL should increase in value with the 2.0 launch though. it's up to you. you might be able to trade it in for ETH now and then buy back in during a dip before it starts going back up.
Its dead
nope
thanks for your input, tough call. Always hard to predict short-term movement so I might just sell a small percentage of my stack in case it dips
Any reason user?
depends on your entry point. The devs are going to announce some token changes in the coming weeks in addition to changes to the platform. They want it to get better, so i'd probably hold if you're gonna sell at a loss. No reason to sell at a loss when it still has room to go up. I also regret not dropping some when it mooned but w/e
also its funny, but that gigantic dump was actually a VC whale with 500k RPL that dumped 250k because biz woke it up due to the pump. A majority of people that bought into RPL are still holding. They managed to drop the price almost 2 full dollars by themselves
I bought a good stack of RPL at around $1.40. Not too bad of an entry, but not super early either. Do you have a link to these token and platform changes?
I had 9000$ From 2000 and was debating pulling out. Crash happened and only had 3500 after. Still feel like shit i didnt cash out
don't worry man it's gonna go back up.
i sold the majority of my stake around $2 when it dumped (bought it at 88 cents) but i still kept a few hundred and plan to buy some more next time it dips (if it does).
they haven't announced them yet. If you're in the discord you can browse the token channel
Currently there has been a lot of talk of the 1% dev fee being redistributed amongst token holders (possibly only node operators) which would make the token stupidly valuable. If they even captured 20% of the estimated 5mil in phase 0...that would be a lot of eth distributed to the node holders.
be patient friendo
you will be rewarded. Currently its on a downtrend though if you look at the chart. It's probably going to go lower from here. My estimate is around .007-.008, which is where a giant amount of buy support is right now.
Nice i'll check out the discord. We're gonna make it
user, considering you posting, you should sell and stay poor. The official multi-client eth2 testnet comes out in 2 weeks and all hype will be on eth 2 and rocketpool. Pajeets from biz have sold, they will buy back above $5.
this desu. KR1 sold 200k of 400k stack. They plan to run eth2 nodes on rocketpool for their institutional clients. Other institutions and funds plan on using rocket pool as well, but at this point, probably better biz stays out.
No need to be mean to a fellow holder. Anyone would be nervous at the current bleeding of the price.
>bleeding price. Zoom out, consolidation is healthy. This is sitting at $1.90, one half serious buyer could put this at $3 tomorrow.
They are actively discussing it in the discord.
This thing is going to melt faces and I hope the weak hands from biz miss the next leg up. In the next 3 months, the amount of eth2 and rocketpool news lined up is going to raise awareness to a project that will have real utilization straight from launch.
Zoom out and you see it’s a giant descending triangle with support that trends lower and lower. Currently the price is in a descending channel and the sell order volume is increasing while the buy orders are decreasing. I’m literally calling it as it is man. I’m defending rpl here, it’s just stupid to not acknowldge that the price hasn’t actually consolidated yet (previous support was .010ish but now that is resistance) and it continues to trend towards the .008 area. This is the perfect time to dca down and potentially get ready for a big buy opportunity if weak hands are shaken out around .008
Ive done pretty well during the bear market. Stacked LINK when it was .20c. moved some profit into a couple of shitcoins that went 3x to 5x. My plan these 2 years was to play with shitcoins and continue sending the profits into LINK. But, let me tell you something.
Rocketpool has been the only project since Chainlink that I feel is worth a long term hol. I actually think it has room for a faster value appreciation due to the low marketcap, ETH 2.0, the new tokenomics coming soon and even the current tokenomics which will eventually index itself to the price of ETH.
Currently, I am in the top 25. RPL is now a large part of my portfolio and im sitting comfy.
Good luck to you and if you sell its because you were to lazy to research fully what Rocketpool is and will be.
It’s posted in the medium article if you google rocket pool
it wont let me post. "thinks its spam"
what's a good stack?
The main seller put out a press release they finished their selling. The little selling pressure that exists are weak hands like op that wants people to convince him to hold etc. Do all the trend analysis you want, one half legitimate buyer ruins any ta.
Yeah and until that buyer comes my TA has been working good so far. I want that buyer to come, but I’m also interested in dcaing into more cheapies.
Anything over 1000 is pretty good imo. I’m 100% in the belief that rpl will at the very least 10x from here and with better tokenomics....shit who knows then.
depends what your living standard is. But look at it like this.
Currently it is around 20M market Cap. Top 50 is 150M market cap. Thats 7x from here and most those top 50 coins are shitcoins.
Realistically I can see it in the top 25 which is 500M marketcap. and even then there are total shitcoins from top 13 to top 25.
at 500M RPL would be a 25x from here. this is also considering ETH and BTC at this price total market cap of 267B. If ETH and BTC go on a run, I couldn't even quantify how high RPL would be.
I think 5k to 10k would be a nice make it stack for most.
Don’t tease me like that
Forget RPL and get into DFOhub (buidl) now. Theres only 100 holders and brand new. If this goes up to $3 we're rich.
Don’t shill your scam pnds here. Rpl is a legit token with a legit team that is offering a service.
Pretty close to my analysis. Without a tokenomic update, I expect $10-$15. If they update to what I think they will, I expect $25-$35 before launch this year. Eth 2 news and rocketpool awareness will compound from here til launch which is pretty much confirmed for q3 and guaranteed this year. One could buy 32 eth, learn to run a node or they can just throw whatever they have (min 1 eth) at RP and let the rewards accumulate.
this post smells like curry. Still no flags on biz?
What’s your eth conversion target? Obviously .1 for the current iteration but 25 to 35 is like .2 to .3? Jeez, that would be insane. I’d be rich.
When you look back on this its going to hurt. I thought the goal was to catch all PNDs on the come up, exchange for profit and then put those profits into hodl coins. I might be wrong maybe some people want to invest in specific coins and watch them reach their potential.
Why would I want to risk pnd when there’s a perfectly good opportunity right here?
Im white American I just want see us all make it.
yeah prob .2-.3. If setup correctly, will need a plus 100mc for larger wallets to want to even see profit vs staking their stacks.
