How much did you lose during the march crash?
Panic sold and lost ~$27k, I couldn't even close my eyes. Woke to the point my eyes wouldn't close. I couldn't cope with the stress.
How much did you lose during the march crash?
Don't worry another one is coming, coronachan is not done with the economy
you got robbed literally
now stop thinking about it because btc will be 2K eoy
go back to work and stick to etfs because you are too emotive
>selling at a loss
But why
You do know markets go up again right? It's not like they take your money by force once it starts going down.
I never get panic sellers.
i'm up like 30%
I've never seen BTC go down 40% in value in one day, my plan was to sell and then buy lower but I missed the bottom.
panic sold nothing. still down probs ~10k but it is coming back pretty sweet. ASX anyway, still down a healthy +20% and crabbing along nicely.
Swinged a lot for a month. From 200+ links to this
I never sold in my life, I only buy.
So there's nothing but slight regret that I didn't buy even more at the crash, but I still bought even then.
Good job user, how’d ya do it ?
Lost about 11k. Sucks but such is life, too stressed to swing so just gonna hold
could you explain in detail what your thought process was? it would help to avoid this
panic sold. My portfolio was 1.9 but now it is 1.5k
Just about broke even. oddly enough my networth has increased %50 lol.
Im just starting to shiny metals and crypto
gonna start investing into vangaurd stocks and shit idk
I bought $60k worth of stock in March and made $25k. I was all in cash/chainlink before the
I lost a lot of my LINK stack. I had an CDP open that I used to buy a shitload of LINK and my ETH liquidation price was at about $150. Never thought ETH would fucking go to double digits again. I was frantically trying to pay off my CDP while the network was congested and gas prices were super high. It was very stressful and I didn't sleep that night. I vowed not to use leverage again
I bought more
>number go down temporarily
>better sell fast before it goes back up or even higher
It's a funny meme but I just lie about doing it. To actually sell at a loss is kinda dumb. Especially when it has always gone to new all time highs. It helps if you write down your purchase price, that way you know not to sell if it goes below that number. I think this is where most people fuck up. They forget their purchases and sell thinking they are in profits. Then they go to log the trade and realize their mistake once its too late.
when you're a retard and you listen to other retards on Zig Forums you get a bunch of happy fun time
because you can often sell and then buy back in at the bottom and increase the size of your stack. like if you sold LINK at $4 when it was clear as fuck everything was crashing and then buying back in at $1.50. you could have more than doubled your stack.
obviously it's easier said than done to time the market but i sold all my link at 4 and bought back at 2. i mean you're taking the risk it doesn't dump a lot more but most of the people that bought btc at 4k or eth at $90 are pretty happy right now.
>March crash
Oh yeah, that time when msm, politicians, elites and other mind control trannies were peaking their FUD efforts, so those who knew could:
>introduce "muh new reality" and authoritarian laws
>ruin normies financially and get rich on their backs
>increase simulation suffer levels for normies
>have an excuse to le big short into le big long
>buy back crypto and some stocks at their bottom
Yeah, it was and still is, quite a fucking show
i lost nothing because i'm not a cuck "investing" (gambling) in the boomer ponzi
you faggots have started to be too comfy in here. we need another golden bullrun, not for the gains as anyone who's not a newfag doesn't need to work for a living anymore, but to weed out trash
bonus points if you mongs fomo at the top like in 2017
imagine losing
I thought about selling that day we dumped, but it was comical how quickly the price went down. Every time I checked the price it just kept going lower and lower. By the time my portfolio had gone down 50% I didn't give a fuck any more and was happy to hold to 0. In hindsight, that's when I should have doubled down.
Bitcoin dropped 40% you fucking lemming.
i tripled my stack
>owning st*ks
Not really, it went up higher without dropping. The only thing that can determine if it actually drops or not is your exit price. You'd have to be a retard to go out of your way and perform all the steps required to sell for a loss when you know for a fact that it will go up very soon. No one but you would do such a thing. Don't act like you can give advice when you can't even tell if it's better to make or to lose money. It's just sad and pathetic.
Dude, on a global crisis like that, hold. Never panic sell. Either shits going down and not even liquid fiat will be worth anything, or shit will eventually go back up.
Bought a big bag of TRB at 6...went down to 2.9 and then sold at 3...50% loss on a coin that's already back up to almost 6....fml
Up 12%. Oil bets have been going sideways.
I bought 10k worth of Link at the top
and
never panic sold
