So Zig Forums, with the world economy going through a seismic shift, it is probably also the best time to relocate somewhere in the world where you are treated as an individual and where there are no excessive taxes when you do business.
Where are the best places for Zig Forumsraelis to move to? I can think of a few criteria:
>few poor people and general misery (excludes most of the third-world) >high general standard of living >not culturally enriched (rules out many mega cities like Paris and London) >low taxes (rules out most OECD countries) >easy-going, western culture (may rule out Singapore)
Unfortunately, I find it very difficult to balance these criteria with each other as most non-shithole countries apart from meme-countries like Monaco and Singapore are out to extort you to the max for your hard earned cash. Switzerland is the exception here of course, but I feel that it is rather boring there and the language(s) is somewhat of an issue.
It definitely feels like the walls are closing in for those who value freedom and ease-of-business, and I'm not really sure where to go. Tax evasion in OECD countries is also an alternative, but I'm not sure people have the risk appetite for it here. What's left if you're not UHNW? Some backwater island in the Caribbean (could be pretty based when you think about it)? Swallow the Schiff-pill and challenge the Tax Man in your home country? Have any of you looked into this and come to some conclusions?
One thing is for certain though I think it is time for those of us who are smart and capable to escape the tightening grip of the European Union. It's only a matter of time before they ban cash and restrict freedom of movement outside of the EU to quash any brain drain.

Every place where this was formerly the case is inundated with low-trust communities (i.e. Diverse).
What you're asking for does not exist.
Evan Evans
So what do you suggest one do? Accept the circumstances and bend over for the tax man/regulator (esp. if you are in crypto)? I can't deal with the regulatory/bureaucratic BS that is the EU, and if you are in a regulated field like crypto it is borderline suicidal.
Justin Richardson
Interested/bump Constantly looming into this have you seen any nomad capitalist content. I honetly think the guy is a faggit jew Jew trying time extort you for money but he does have some good information about getting your money into countries that will treat you better. What’s wrong with 2nd and 3rd world if you build a comfy set up for your self there your essentially a god
Matthew Wilson
This, too many Jews and too much diversity in the world to have a country by and for productive, freedom-loving white men. That's what America was intended to be and it took less than two centuries for the (((civil rights advocates))) and (((humanitarians))) to completely destroy it. Lets hope we either develop the tech to escape this prison world or that the Jews and darkies are highly susceptible to the next plague cooked up in a chink wet market because that's what it will take for real change to occur.
The problem with 2nd/3rd world countries which aren't meme islands or proper shitholes like Congo is that if you do business there you are eventually going to need some connects in the government to avoid getting fucked by taxes and other fictional charges. Rule of law generally does not exist, and if it does it is to a much lower degree than developed countries.
One thing I've been thinking about which is between developed nations and third-world shitholes are meme islands like the Caymans or Anguilla or any of those overseas territories as they combine the standard of living of a Western nation (as they are essentially protectorates) but due to historical quirks and governments looking the other way they also have a very business friendly environment with zero taxes and very little redtape. I'm seriously considering it but I'll have to evaluate some other options too.
As for Nomad Capitalist, I think he is a good introduction to the world of nomad capitalism, but I think he is also a salesman and you should really use your own judgement and use multiple sources when evaluating a tax/residence strategy. I've also heard he is a massive dick.

Bumping for interest. There has to be somewhere that Zig Forumsraelis can establish an expat community

>Switzerland Fuck off, we're full.

I’ll bump this. My research has lead me to Chile as a possible haven, especially because I have family there. I am German and find Chile or Argentina to be the best alternatives, but Argentina’s government is a fucking joke.
Kevin Parker
Based Nazi granddad. He managed to escape the jews and built a family there. Now it’s your turn too
Bentley Torres
I’ve been looking into Argentina as well but I have zero interest in paying their ridiculous tax rates, you think the tax authorities care or how does it look over there?
Tyler Bell
What's the point of emigrating to Argentina? From a first world country?
Elijah Peterson
there is no united fiscal policy in the EU you brainlet. but please, fuck off to some shithole country, nobody wants your kind here anyway.
Carter Allen
After reading this thread I can see Kleros holders actually claiming their right to be the first digital jurisdiction. I'm sure we will be treated well if other countries would recognize our passports.
Mason Miller
we (swiss people) are not friendly to foreigners too.

EU 5AMLD suggests otherwise. To think there is no fiscal coordination in the EU is peak delusion.

I can't give you a 100% answer, what I can offer you os a few resources I gathered with my knowledge and with the help of a few anons here.
Portugal is planning to implement an e-residency just like estonia and there is a charter city being built on honduras prospera.hn/
lots of interesting stuff.
You are welcome. I think I've posted the most interesting resources for you guys who want to do some research. If any of you have discord and want to connect with like-minded people feel free to join my server: ID is TcbT8yY.
We are mostly focused on trading/algo trading and research/discuss a few shitcoins but we also wanna pay lower taxes once we make it.

I think looking overseas is ultimately a failing formula, especially in the generational sense. Better to just study tax law in your jurisdiction very carefully and exploit all the loopholes your rulers wrote for themselves. There are three primary benefits to this >you can remain in your high trust ethnic enclave, and not subject your children to being a minority in a 3rd world country with incredibly low standards >you can lower your taxes drastically, even lower than tax havens, without losing consistent law enforcement prevalent in 1st world countries >you are legally subverting the power structure that wants to keep you as a tax slave, by removing yourself as a source of income while remaining a burden on their resources. I think staying, and outsmarting, is the superior choice.
European richtards go to Malta. Portugal and Netherlands won't tax crypto.

Relocation seems to only mean going from California to Texas and New York to Florida.
What does everyone else do? I'm in Pennsylvania. Where do I go?
Oliver Cooper
>Argentina This is possibly the worst place you could go to if you're looking for economic freedom. The country was destroyed by a socialist administration in the 2000s, had a couple of years of a neoliberal administration, and then roundly reelected the socialist. Its doomed long-term.
Nicholas Hughes
Dubai criminality basically zero, inexistent misery high standard of living (and also median) get hit with many cultures but basically enriched by whites low taxes prett easy going with some slight exceptions
Oliver Walker
PA is actually a decent state for richfags because the state income tax is a flat 3% (vs a progressive tax that can reach as high as 14% in some states) and property taxes arent too high depending on school district. If you live in the south east you can travel to delaware to buy big ticket items tax free (excluding vehicles).
Dylan Torres
Yeah but each city has its own tax strategy. You end up getting hit by crazy city/county nickle and dime taxes that make that 3% go to more like 5%-8% depending.
Jordan Roberts
china ruined hong kong it was paradise
Xavier White
Its a double edged sword, PA has a crazy above average municipalities per square mile, and for every shit local government taxing too much, there are good ones that keep taxes low. It is much less of a burden to move to greener tax pastures than just about any other state, so competition is fairly good in that regard.
