I think intelligence is basically useless if you don't use it to do really well on say the MCAT and get into medical school or something. The corporate world doesn't reward intelligence. It rewards being an extroverted normie.

I'm not sure if I have a 145 iq but I've scored in the 99th percentile on many aptitude tests (both in employment and school settings). I was bored all the time in school. I'd zone out half the time in my classes, just waiting for the teacher to get to the point.

I do have a gf and finally managed to get a 50k leafbuck/year job after sending out 1000 job applications.

If you can't relate to people and are entirely anti-social that isn't a feature, it's a bug. Plenty of intelligent people can interface with the 100-115 IQs and share common pleasures and activities. Wealth and success are derived from the community, not some kind of lone wolf thing.

To add to this, shortly after graduating from university with a STEM degree, I applied for a job as an entry level data entry role. It paid a few bucks above the minimum wage.

I ended up getting the highest score ever at the company on some aptitude test. They still didn't give me the job. CEO gave me a phone call, basically wanted to know if I'd cheated on the test or something. He still didn't give me the job.

The world isn't about what you know (unless you're using your IQ to pass tests to get into a profession), it's about who you know. It's about sucking the right dick in the right way.
