How much is your "made it" amount and what would you do once you make it?
About >500k Euros.
Move to Paraguay or Thailand and live off Dividends. Start blowing my money in my 60s
at least 1 mil
pay off student loans
pay off a full lease for 1 or 2 years in a moderately okay area
allocate some funds for food/etc
reinvest the rest
repeat every year (except the loan parts)
tryna live a comfy life.
>gets 1 mil
>dumps it into rent
hahahaha why are rentcucks like this?
why would I want to own a house? Be real. I might get bored and want to move away.
2.5 million
enough to invest wisely
i already own a farm
There is no make it, only more and more.
Making it in terms of final stepstone is DEATH.
2 million would be enough to live a simple life in a quaint home indefinitely.
1 mill would solve all financial worries for life, and I could just work a low stress civil service job part time until retirement.
This is going to sound stupid, but even 30k would be enough for me. I'm an artist and love my work, but supplies and space are expensive. If I had even a nice 30k to get some stuff and put a down-payment on my own workspace... Would be amazing.
Once I can live comfortably and support a family working 14 hours a week or less.
No specific amount, but that's how Ill know I've made it
$3-5m, adjusted for inflation. It would be wonderful to happen on some business opportunity that got me up to $10m and early retirement though. I don't want to be an old bag when I finally have money.
2 decent houses
1 luxury car
enough $ to travel whenever I want
$3 million. That's enough for me to feel comfortable with stopping work for the rest of my life. And I'll spend a good chunk of time living in Thailand. $500 a month would be budgeted towards keeping a rotation of 4 women for sex.
5millions
Id most likely blow it all gambling on shitcoins and penny stocks
I am sick and I can only stop when Im dead broke
100 million is definitely a making it amount. Though 30 million is a good amount for me.
10 million
with that amount it gives you enough freedom to start your passive income strategy for the future luxury life while continuing living luxury.
it's not about the money, i'm in for the tech.
You could buy a condo or town house and rent it out when you want to move. Let someone else pay for it.
$3M buy 40 acres and build a comfy house and invest the rest in government bonds and aristocrat stocks.
The bare minimum is $5 mil. God damn some of you must be young to think you're "making it" with less than that.
Thats the most likely situation for "lucky people." In this environment you will be very lucky if you have money to blow when you reach retirement. God help us all.
Maybe 500k, but I would be confident with 1 million. I'd buy house outright for me and gf, get married, have a kid. The rest goes into stonks, assets, and business creation. At that point I would feel I've made it well enough, but I'd keep going. I'd keep working while attempting business ideas on my own time doing things I enjoy like woodworking or welding. If any are successful I would build my business until I could pay someone else to manage it and I could walk away from it and get passive income, but I'd maintain a presence and control. Then I'd either start a new business or purchase properties to landlord. Rinse and repeat until Im dead or my plate is full and I retire from it all.
how much would a house like that with a view like that run me?
5 million for me. Just invest and live off dividends
Biz is retarded. Everyone knows you need at least 20mil
Couple mill
Homesteading.
40 milly. and i'll make it to that eventually with RSR.
/thread-winner
disgusting new worlder
70 gorillian
Fuck your mom
5 million. I am at 1.5 right now after 13 years of investing.
I'm buying a cabin up in the mountains and paying illegal immigrants to beat them.
