Can someone tell me why everyone talks about XRP being the choice of the banks or some kind of New World Order digital currency? As far as I can tell it has only been adopted by banks in India, or am I wrong?

Every bank I listed is using Ripple-tech that is powered by XRP. SBI and Santander in particular have just announced expanded partnerships. People think Ripple is some NWO project, because it's intended goal is to be a bridge currency for all central bank distributed coins. They're also known to be in talks with the Trump Administration and the US treasury. It was also recently mentioned at the World Economic Forum in Davos. People then extrapolate from this to come to the conclusion that XRP is going to be NWO currency.

I hold 20k XRP, 37 ETH, 25 BCH, 1000 Link. I spread my money out over time, never sold. Bought some at the lows, bought some at the highs. I've been in the position of "only one of these need to moon to make a profit". XRP has always been my 'hail mary' since it seems to have everything behind it, but it clearly isn't performing. I don't understand why either, because all I can get is shills saying "YOU'RE AN IDIOT" or "IT'LL BE $587 DOLLARS ONE DAY"
I really do wish someone would give an honest answer on XRP. I've only had one person give a constructive piece of advice - "There's no reason to have 20k XRP now, since it'll hover below a dollar for a long time, and you could use that money in something else that'll moon sooner. XRP will likely moon one day, but not for a few years"
Long story short, I don't know why either, but if you have it, hold it. If it fails, fuck it, hopefully you have a diverse portfolio.
