I have used idex in the past before and literally as I was trading I got hacked. MOTHER FUCKER WHOEVER YOU ARE. GO DIE.
I literally made the account today and had my json file and priv key saved on my comp. DIDNT THINK a hacker would have found it on the same day I make the account.
Is it that easy to hack. btw I was using a VPN. do you think that has something to do with it

There are no answers to this, I was also hacked last year for $1000 , Idex or metamask may claim that I might have been victim of hack or phishing, but there are loopholes in Idex . I am 500% sure that I didn't do anything wrong. I am an IT guy and understand these things.

how did you create your wallet? what operating system and how much shit do you have installed on it? easily could have some keylogger/clipboard listener/file scanner grab it. Always keep your shit at least in keepass or veracrypt, I personally create new wallets on a small linux pc with nothing else on it, then I'll move over the browser profile including metamask to the trading machine, and if I have to unlock the wallet I use keepass 2 with tcato. Probably not perfect but worked for me so far
