I want to start trading but the site I went to said they block you from trading under $5 stocks for a couple days. wtf is that. Should I go somewhere else or do all the reputable ones do that?

lmao cucky
Liam Foster
Using Robinhood myself and got approved for after hours trading and options trading easily
It's only a phone app afaik, no desktop interface, so some people use TradingView for desktop charts and RH just to buy
Heard good things about td Ameritrade too but dunno about any limitations like that
Wyatt Wright
It is TD Ameritrade that's doing that. They say they block you from 2 or 3 "high risk" things initially and one of those is stocks under $5. I don't see how its a risk to them really unless they have people losing everything then trying to stop the deposit through their bank. A wire transfer avoids that limitation but I just wanted to do s regular deposit.
Adam Bell
That's a pretty lame limitation, does it say how long until you're free to do whatever?
Anyone tried both Robinhood and TDA and can weigh in on pros and cons? Do they both have the same tickers or are some exclusive to either?
Luke Gray
3-4 days. Takes time for the deposit to clear, which I understand, but its just strange that they let you trade but specifically bar under $5.
Grayson Howard
who /asx/ here?
what micro cap memes have you been having a look at? pls no PDI african nonsense
Yo. When am I suppose to sell mark. I bought 1000 dollars worth at 1.70
It's at 2.72 per market now.
Jack Young
Why are we buying ocng again? I have 300 stocks I bought purely because I got shilled.
I don't see it going far, they're developing dry eye droplets
Henry Murphy
I think they had a drug announcement this month that's supposed to sell but who knows, not sure if there are set dates for more earnings or meetings
Aaron Edwards
Robinhood has had lots of outages on big days. I like webull. Premarket starts at 4am eastern, after market till 8pm. Easy to use, phone AND desktop available
They have 2 drugs going and one distribution deal for consensi.
This is the whole story so spread it around, ktov has a deadline to bring its stock up to a dollar for 10 consecutive days before July 6th, so they're selling a drug named consensi for arthritic pain with a big deal distribution with 2 big pharma here in the United states, user said the formula for consensi is rather generic and not a big money scheme so what seems to be happening is they're buying some time until a molecule called NT219 is ready for market, right now is on human trials for safety but it seems pre trials are promising.
NT219 is an end of stage cancer treatment for hardened tumors that don't respond to chemo anymore, so if all goes well this stock could easily jump from a penny stock to a double digit perhaps triple digit one.
The reason ktov is in the shitter is because it has accumulated debt for the last 5 years with almost no revenue and to add they had to settle a law suite in 2018 for investor false development report, basically they said they had a product but they didn't.
So that's the whole dip on this stock, no further information will be available on nt219 and consensi won't be ready for prime time until next month, the time to accumulate is now when is cheap but it'll be at your discretion when to dump, don't listen to faggots telling you dates to dump, do your research
They're on trials for what is known as an orphan patent, they're developing an eye drop for patients who developed eye dryness and irritation usually after getting bone marrow transplant and other diseas.
The market is very small and on top they're actually competing against an already established brand on this category, I will only hold this for the pump but I'll dump it around this week people are jumping on it just by the shill
