So, I loaned my Friend who was financially struggling money a long time ago. At the time, I had substantial money on me. And was getting lots of free play from Casinos. She kept putting off paying me back and I brushed it off as I was still getting lots of free play from Casinos. Cut to recent times and the Casinos in most States are closed due to the Coronavirus. When I loaned her this money, Coronavirus didn't even exist yet, but would exist very very soon, so that gives you a good figure on how long ago I lent her this money. With the Casinos closed, I no longer have free play to rely on, so.... I politely asked her for SOME of the money back, not even the whole amount back...
She got mad at me and told me off! I politely pointed out that I just wanted some of the money back and had only asked her this one time for something back after a long tone after loaning her this money. Oh she was furious. She soon calmed down and acknowledged that she shouldn't have gotten mad at me for politely asking for some money back especially since it had been a long time since I loaned her the money. She did give me back some of the money however.
