You can break the fx markets in down many ways.
Simplest one, Pegged vs Non pegged (floating).

Pegs are managed by a centralized power to keep the currencies value against another/Basket.
Floating lets the market decide the price relative another currency, but if the central power of that currency don't like the way it's going they will use a 'Dirty/Managed float'.

The United States is a communist state. All the companies are propped up by the government and beholden to all their rules. Nobody goes hungry because of the abundance of food infact everyone is fat. You can even lose your job and get 600+ dollars a week. All land is owned by the public because of property tax. The United States is the utopia as envisioned by Karl Marx.

Well for one communism as described by marx was the state he predicted industrialized societies would move towards as a result of capitalism. ie capitalism leads to socialism and then from socialism governments would "whither away" into a stateless communal living situation. That communal part is what Anarcho-communists what but now instead of later.

So-called communist countries have never achieved that even if Marxism was their philosophy. What countries like the USSR and China do have were centrally-planned economies, as in Russia and then China what happened is that Lenin and such were like 'let's skip the capitalism part and instead use a one-party central planned economy and skip the capitalism part'.

What people criticize in communism is the central planned part not allowing any private enterprise, lack of democracy, and single-party rule, but China has central bureaucracies and allow private enterprise, and there is no rule in communism about not allowing democracy or multiple parties either. You could in theory have a multiparty free democracy with a central planned economy that allows free enterprise. In fact, we do have that kind of country, it's India.
