In my opinion the best way forward is when LINK moons they always retain at least 50-100m LINK and stake that to receive income. That way their interest remain alligned with LINK holders

The reserves are it - they're sitting on a massive warchest that will last them decades. If you were here early you'd know that the network was originally going to have a fee that would go to the team. Now the network becomes a public good. The team and us get rich yes, but two things can be true at the same time. This allows them massive room to expand and grow as they wish.

ahh.. of course, they'll just stake their massive stack and get a huge revenue stream just from that. That makes sense. Still seems a little weird if that turns out to be their only revenue stream but at least it's something. I feel like they'd have another way of profiting off the network but beyond staking I can't really think of another way.
