I have some questions: These biotech stocks (often shilled here) XBIO KTOV XSPA I googled their charts and most of the pennies shilled here were valued like 1'300 usd in da past (2016)
How is it possible that a company goes from 5'500 to 1 usd and you still buy it? You may tell me: ''bro it's just to ride pump and dump'' But many anons say Ktov is an hold in 2016 ktov was over 300 usd...
Why in 2016 all these price collpased? I saw this pattern in every biotech stock
Oliver Carter
>Cancer drug results tomorrow on animals

>I'm selling at 80 cents to be honest yu believe the stock will jump to .80 cents? Why not more than that?

>''bro it's just to ride pump and dump'' That's more or less how it works though. >valuation doesn't change, trades is range Share price does though. Since biotechs usually don't make any money they finance their operations by offerings == selling shares at market // sometimes to funds directly. Just avoid those. It's not that hard. Low cash & equivalents - operating expense ratio => offering soon. Wait for offering if you wanna load. Below offering price is usually a good price to buy. There are some other factors that help you time it like the company timeline. => Look at market cap instead of share price. => Avoid offering Most companies don't really want to dilute their shares either. It's bad manner. They usually wait for pumps to offer. Offering on pumps are usually expected which drives the "buy the rumor, sell the news" - mentality. The term "rumor" is a bit overblown since most of those catalysts are expected and have a clear place in the timeline. Read the cc transcript and the corporate presentation. They will give you hints. => Don't buy stocks without catalyst in the near future =>Don't buy stocks which are low on cash => Sell before or on news.

>1-2$ per stock should be realistic at this point. what if it becames the standard cure for cancer? Which price then? I have seen that there other drugs competing. For example there is CART approach to it. Don't get why you shill only ktov
>Just avoid those How can I know if a biotech is going to sell their own shares? >Low cash & equivalents - operating expense ratio => offering soon I mean this. How do I get this? Where do I have to look for this? >Wait for offering if you wanna load. Below offering price is usually a good price to buy To be traded on OTC don't they have an IPO? This offering you are talking about is an IPO for pennies? Ho do I know when it will there be? >Look at market cap instead of share price this is difficult... how do you evaluate a potencial life changing medicine like ktov? Thank you by the way

Honestly ktov has me stumped as well with the launch of there new drug on US markets as well as the promising outlook for there cancer cure drug. I really don’t want to be stuck holding till mid June for the other conference but good results from something like that could make ktov a juicy target for a buyout which means big bucks.

when does market open? Is it going to be another boring day? dubs says yes
Matthew Cooper
>How can I know if a biotech is going to sell their own shares? If they are low on cash they have to raise cash by offering a specific amount of shares to a specific price. Offering amount times offering price equals raised cash amount.
>I mean this. How do I get this? Where do I have to look for this? Either their last 10k or 10q depending on what is more recent. Tradingview has that data too in the "financial" section between "indicators" and "template". It's FA basically. >To be traded on OTC don't they have an IPO? IPO is initial offering. We're talking about general public offering(usually primary). The stock is already trading on the exchange and the company decides to sell another batch. They have to sec file this event. Sometimes they file a shelf first but don't sell the shares yet.
>Look at market cap instead of share price this is difficult... I mean "market capitalization". I mean outstanding shares times closing price. Tradingview has that too in the financials. > how do you evaluate a potencial life changing medicine like ktov? Forget about the long term aspects. That's somehow the beauty of biotechs. It's all highly speculative and that enables the high volatility. Don't invest. Trade. globenewswire.com/news-release/2020/05/28/2039875/0/en/BioCryst-Prices-Public-Offering-of-Common-Stock-and-Pre-Funded-Warrants.html Example for offering.
