Because Trump's executive order means twitter gets to now curate whatever Trump says and justifying it by saying they can't be legally responsible if they properly censor it. If Trump doesn't agree, he now has to go to court and fight for why twitter should allow that curated content. Twitter realizes that the executive order is completely unenforceable because the number of lawsuits would literally overwhelm the courts right now, so they get to completely fuck with Trump however they want. Twitter is basically saying "ok, we're going to be publishers then, good luck lawsuiting everything ever posted on the internet."
