Yeah, original STA is worthless. I just hid them in metamask (they don't disappear). And whether the value of the BPT will increase is obviously up to whether the value of Statera increases, so how the fuck am I supposed to know? It probably will, though. Deflationary tokens are hip and Statera was mooning before it broke uniswap.
