I work there user, I also failed the coding part the first time I interviewed. keep your head up and keep reading CTCI. grind it out and retry, then you can forget coding questions forever. a lot of people fail at FAANG interviews before they pass one, don't be the guy who gives up and you'll be way ahead of the rest already.

Holy fuck, let me tell you. Working for large companies is hot garbage. I've been around, and I can tell you without a doubt that this job I've taken is the best choice I've made in my life. Seriously, find a small, stable (non-startup) company, or find a company that isn't focused on software development and has an in house dev team or something. Fucking up on your Amazon interview is a good thing. Use your interview as experience, WORK ON SOME HOBBY PROJECTS, and you'll be fine

amazon recruiters are the dumbest mother fuckers on the planet. I work at a research lab doing numerical math shit, mostly for machine learning applications. amazon recruiters contacted me asking if I was interested. I said maybe, depends if the job is related to math/ml or not. they instantly sent me a coding exam that was all irrelevant shit like string parsing and reversing a linked list. I called the recruiter a retard, but I still get hounded by those people. it's hard for me to believe that anyone who isn't trying to game the american immigration system would work there.
