>$350000+ for a decent home in my area.

I'm good dawg...

$300,000 plus tax plus tip

Don't forget about closing costs. Paying money to be able to buy a house.

JUST BUY A MCMANSION IN BUMFUCKVILLE AND PAY THE MORTGAGE PLUS INTEREST FOR 30 YEARS BRO LMAO

It'll be half a million in a few years. Might as well get the gains. Buying a house is how you take advantage of massive inflation because if you don't your rent will just shoot up every year and your wage probably won't go up by as much

SEETHING CALIKEK

Imagine owning an asset that is landlocked and you dont really own anyway. Go ahead user, stop paying your property tax. Go ahead user, rent out to some deadbeat. Go ahead user, dont rent out your house.

hope the neighbors aren't being to loud this Friday, rentcucks :^)

>you dont really own anyway
i own it enough that i can sell it when the rentcucks finish paying off my mortgage

IF, user. IF he finishes paying out your mortgage. Dont count your chickens until your eggs hatch.

>pretending to own an investment property

lmao you eat tendies in your bedroom fuck off

Theres really no good houses in my area, all of them are either 40k and below fixer houses that have been ransacked by the local joggers or 500k+ with all house and no land. I have my eye on one that has been on the market for about a year now, 30 acres of timber, 2 ponds, and a 3 bed 2 bath 1500 sqft house for 230,000. I really don't want to take a loan on the house though and would prefer to pay cash, but I am currently 180k short not including investments. I'm kinda hoping that it will still be there in about 3 years when I'm projected to have the cash, but I know it wont be so I'm not getting my hopes up.

there's always another rentcuck to pay the mortgage

i'll be inheriting 10 million current value properties right about the time you and your seething rentcuck friends finish buying them for me

So get this, rentcucks

the interest I pay on my loan?
Tax deductible

Property Tax?
tax deductible

all of that is factored into your rent and you dont get to write off DICK.

you rentcucks are one degree away from literal slaves

>interest tax deductible
only a percentage of the interest is tax deductible, you still pay more money

>property tax tax deductible
only on commercially zoned buildings, even a residential being rented out does not qualify

JUST WAGEKEK AND PAY INTEREST FOR 30 YEARS BRO LMAOOOOOOO

JUST PAY THE MORTGAGE ON YOUR INVESTMENT PROPERTY WHEN YOU TENANT REFUSES TO PAY AND YOU CAN ONLY EVICT HIM AFTER 6 MONTHS IN COURT LMAO

mortgage holders will get recked in the next 10 years

Can't you also deduct mortgage payments too (up to a certain amount)?

1. I currently rent and I write off a plurality of my apt's sq footage (independent contractor), but
2. am strongly interested in buying in the next 12 mo's... but I will say anyone who bought in the last 2-3 years probbbbably bought the top, as the housing market is a lagging indicator and will follow the absolute decimated economy down (-5% GDP, very slow recovery over next 2-5 years), just like in '08. Forbearances are quietly approaching 10%, and from my own Zillow searches, a LOT of current and new listings are in pre-foreclosure due to loans defaulting in late '19.. Housing valuations are certain to fall. Very much looking forward to lowballing distressed sellers in the new buyer's market.

You fuck. Save big for another month or two and then do a 15-20% down payment

>only a percentage of the interest is tax deductible
30% is still better than 0%, rentcuck

>you still pay more money
lol, wrong.

>only on commercially zoned buildings, even a residential being rented out does not qualify
pic related you stupid kike

30 years renting @ 900/month
> - $324,000

30 years renting @ 900/month mortgage (including taxes/interest)
- $324,000
+$250,000 in equity

> - $74,000

dumbass rentcucks hahahahahahahaha

Do you think that 350k just disappears after you pay it. Cuz I can guaran-fucking-goddam-tee you, that monthly rent does. Now extrapolate that over 20-30 yrs, and think about how much money youve pissed away. Think about how much generational wealth youve denied your offspring.

YOU CAN GET BELOW 3% INTEREST RATES ON A MORTGAGE RIGHT NOW

INFLATION IS AT LEAST 3% OR MORE SO THE (((INTEREST))) DOESNT EVEN FKN MATTER

LEARN ECONOMICS YOU MONGOLOIDS

this constant "BUY A HOUSE" shilling is getting old and stale. "rentcucks" this and "mortgage" that. what is with this inorganic bullshit? i'll buy a house when I'm good and ready. fuck off with your boring spam.

It's just some loser coping with the fact that he has to live in some flyover state earning less than six figures.

mine will be paid off in a couple more years

planting a couple more trees in the yard tomorrow before it gets hot; will soak the lawn a bit for the grass to thicken up

feels good man

why? lol

im already saving 80 percent of my income. I make 50k a year and over the past year and a half I've managed to put 50k in cash and 15k in a dividend portfolio. I can't really save much more than I am now. A loan isnt worth it

R E N T
F R E E

hahahahahahhahahhahaha I'm not even OP. dumbass rentcuck, how mad are you rn?

you forgot to turn off your proxy

and you forgot to take your meds AGAIN

Why do you use a new id for every post you make?

You know we are at the top again when the ''buy a house'' shilling starts

I have two, you stupid fuck.
one wifi
one mobile data

how new are you? or is this concept incredibly hard for your little rentcuck brain to grasp?

Oh, so you're one of those retarded mobileposters. And don't even know how to connect your mobile phone to wifi And make under six figures. Sounds like a great life.

It might also be 200k in a few years dumb fuck. You do not buy a home to make money.
