Wtf I almost bought this shit thank god i was already traumatized by my retardation when I stupidly bought Imperial UNITS without knowing literally anything about it.
Now I do comprehensive research before buying some coin biz shills and I have to hand it to XYS for being a convincing shill,
but like I said I already have PTSD from UNITS
So here's the disgusting thing I discovered:

they say the circ supply is 25m out of the 100m total supply. okay no inherent problem with that
but check out the top 7 holders, all those who have 1M+ XVYs. if you check all of them you'll see that each one got their coins from the same source 11 days ago
that's 97% of the total supply for all of them, leaving 3M for everyone else for anyone else who bought after than and is been buying and will buy later
3M out of the supposed circulating supply of 25M is around 10%, meaning 90% of the circulating supply has already been handed out to certain people the same time the supposed lock 75M i.e. they gave away at the same time to around five people 22M of the 25M circ supply (could also even be less than five people, just with different addresses)

No idea what this coin is but it's pretty common in the early stage that they've distributed it into team accounts. Considering 75% of it is locked they're probably setting it up for market.

You can also lock coins after they've been moved, if you're not aware. I'm not defending this coin in case you think that, I'm just saying it's pretty common. You should probably wait for an announcement if they don't go into detail in their whitepaper. Looks like a fairly reputable company if you believe the ties so they would be forced to be transparent about it. tl;dr not a cause for worry imo but you're right to be suspicious.

If 75M is locked then that's for the top two holders: 60M + 15M
So that's a remaining 25M supposed circulating supply.
There's 22M of the 25M distributed among five addresses.
Why would they give 22M of the 25M circ supply to the team when the team already has 75M locked?
I mean they STILL have it.
They literally can dump anytime they want.
Even if one rich guy were to buy the available 3M circ supply, that's nothing compared to the 22M that can be dumped on his sorry ass.

That might be locked again, it might be held under some kind of partnership or contract, it might be held there under terms of some kind of exchange deal. I don't know user, all I'm saying is that this type of stuff is common when a coin is pre-launch. If they've done their research which I presume they have considering they've discussed tokenomics, they'll know it's not viable to make it freely available. There will probably be some kind of clause attached to it. Or not, I don't know. But it happens all the time (see Link, etc). I'd wait until they announce what the actual tokenomics are if you're worried.

Looking back through the history of it, I'd most likely say yes. Don't put in more than you're willing to lose, but I'm probably going to put about 1 ETH in. As another user said the risk/reward is worth it, this could really take off. I don't want to be too greedy here, but I'm cautiously bullish.

From what I can tell yes, it's a lot better for prices. Now that you've bought just try to forget about it and see what happens in a week.
