if true good job. i bet the lockdowns gave you a lot of new fish to farm.
what stakes do you play and how many tables at once?
how'd you learn, and could you recommend a book or website for somebody who knows about basics like ev, pot odds, how to estimate outs, etc?

looks over extended, i'd expect a correction to $70k or so. good shorting opportunity.

What's the timeline on this thing?

thx boss. Lockdown has def been amazing for action... all sports cancelled, everyone working from home with nothing to do, etc.

I learned by paying for a membership to a video training site. Not here to shill any in particular, but there are quite a few options out there. Books are typically quite outdated, but for beginner I'd imagine there has to be one that could give you an idea of the basics. Can't recommend anything in particular as I haven't read a poker book in forever.

nvm I'm retarded

when was the last time you were actually able to cash out?

o sry, forgot to answer wrt stakes and # of tables: I typically 6-12 table. I play 1/2 to 10/20. About half of my hands are at 1/2 with most of the remaining percent being at 500. 5/10 and 10/20 don't run on my networks often but I jump in whenever I see a good spot

Is that including rakeback? What's your hourly?

Cashed out 25k in the past 2 weeks.

Only getting about 10% rb on the network where I'm getting most of my volume. Overall hourly is prob around $250

Not including my RB here** but given that its only 10% its a pretty small % of my winnings

What % luck/skill? 30% luck, 70% skill?

are you my fren from japan?

no real scientific way to quantify this. I'll say that I win about 60% of my days tho. On a long enough time frame, there is no luck, as a person with an advantage will win

Nice Profit
Do you reinvest in yourself to upscale or passive investing?

never lived in japan but I've visited. Would love to do a longer-term stay there at some point

Have >50% of my net worth in crypto. Keep a lot of cash as a poker bankroll for when I want to play bigger games. Was looking to go balls deep in the stock market with the coronavirus dip, but I missed my opportunity. Praying that its a deadcat bounce atm and I can get in at S&P 2k, DJIA 20k

what crypto you holding?

~80% btc
~10% xmr
Remaining dust is shit alts that have tanked beyond belief, but I've always been pretty much a btc maximalist so I'm not hurting too bad from that

based. I'm holding 80% BTC, 20% ZEC. I think once ZEC pumps, I'll sell into XMR. congrats on the gainz you filthy fucking degenerate.

>zec hodler

Tough times there brah haha. I mean, its due for a pump right? But ya I mean you're like me, holding mostly BTC so you're gonna be fine even if that ZEC bag tanks to zero.

why no LINK?

too brainlet to understand the tech. It was heavily shilled here a few years back and in my mind this is a negative indicator. I understand the value prop of both btc and xmr so I'm heavy on those

I have something for you to help understand it.

check out the following links to get redpilled on chainlink, its very important to understand where this is going:

The guys at work asked me if I wanted to be in a poker tourney yesterday but I don’t know how to play. I’ll take this as a sign I should learn

Online poker is too much fucking work. OP's 250k hand sample size is on the bottom end of reasonably estimating actually how good you are. Variance is crazy and game isn't getting any easier. If you missed the real juicy years of online poker it's barely worth it unless you have exactly the right kind of autism

Stop trying to shill your fucking bags at the top you cunt

What’s the right kind of autism

I don't know how to play poker but I'm a borderline sociopath with no emotions. How do I learn for free and win big?

You could learn a few basic things and basically crush normie competition. Not shilling any channels in particular, but there is amazing free content on youtube if you look around enough

>variance is crazy
hrm. Yes and no. You will know your bb/100 wr for >95% certainty after ~50k hands of 6max nlhe. Yeah sure there are outliers, but thats what they are, outliers.

quite a few free resources on youtube. As stated, not shilling anyone in particular. If you want to get serious I'd get a subscription to a video training site. Its gonna run you a couple hundred bucks but if you are an autist with a work ethic, you'll make it
