SENT sentinel upcoming release IOS app

he $SENT iOS application is nearing the final stages of development with the focus primarily being on UI.

The application will be available on Testflight most likely within the next week, and will be open for suggestions and comments on how the UI/UX can be improved.

Currently the application will provide access to community hosted servers that are supporting the IKEV2 protocol so the node list on the iOS application will not be the same as the current OpenVPN node list. Future integration will include WireGuard which will also be supported on other platforms, allowing for further consolidation of nodes.

The iOS application will be fully open-sourced allowing for individuals and organziations alike to customize and build on it the way that the Android client is currently being built on. The iOS application will further expand the reach of the Sentinel dVPN application.

SENT and haircomb token are the only two legit crypto currencies.

Been accumulating this for 6 months now. Bag is getting heavy. It's in the best shape it has been in and lots of developments coming. Rumour has it they got into Binance labs and have thousands of Chinese users already.

Ok I'll bite. Why is this particular dVPN better than the thousands of others? Why do I need to buy Eth then change it on some exchange (sent isn't Binance?) Then get the token to use on my phone?
I use expressvpn and it covers my phone and pc without needing a token.

sentinel recently won 2 phases of cosmos game of zones securing their ATOM reward, this will helped the team test their knowledge about tendermint in preparation for SENT main net release

SENT is not a normal centralized VPN but a dVPN it allows anyone to host a dVPN node and sell their own bandwidth, so you will be able to host a node during the night and browse for free during the day.
theidea is for sentinel to do to bandwith what uber did to taxis, anybody can become a bandwidth seller.
this should make prices way cheaper as there is global competition.
also sentinel relay net allows to decide the amounts of hops your node goes through thus ensuring probabilistic privacy.
you will also be able to connect using a special kind of exit nodes that will funnel your traffic directly into tor thus, or you could use tor before entering the vpn network, giving yourself 2 layers of privacy.

There aren’t thousands of others. There are like 3 left, but Sentinel is the only one with truly solid tokenomics, interoperability prospects and codebase. Check out their traction on stats.sentinel.co

so i will be able to host a node and get payed for it ?
isn't it dangerous ?

Anyone seen Orchid? Tried the Android app but not as good as Sentinel’s. Also,
Orchid’s tokenomics don’t stack up and they are building on ETH whereas Sentinel are building on Cosmos and Tendermint which seems much more viable for the future. Thoughts?

there are 3 types of sent nodes:
-relay nodes (the ones consumers will host, you will have no problem as you never see the unencrypted data)
exit nodes (have the same risk as tor exit nodes, this is tought for people that want to a take higher risk for a higher reward, those people can host a exit node, thats a pretty big pool of people, and all data centers in non five eyes jurisdctions
sentinel will become as decentralized as tor with the added benefit that people that run tor nodes can host a sentinel node at the same time and actually get payed for their very useful service
tor has more then 10k nodes and the potential incentivization unlocks sentinel will reach a higher exit nodes count in few years
