I work in tech. Microsoft hires 100,000 Indians and their code is so sloppy it has to be re-written by 500 overworked white guys. This problem is known to industry peeps as "The Code Diaper"and you'd hear more about it if you were paying attention. It's ultimately four times more expensive to outsource because the work has to be redone years later by white guys. Indian code is patchwork rats nest shit that fails and needs to be completely redone the minute it's integrated into any bigger project. This is real info from a medium-sized tech company CEO that we've talked to several times. Indians fucking suck at coding, don't believe everything you hear about them being awesome. Also only roughly 10% of Indian business school graduates are employable.. this is possibly due to white racism (™) but perhaps it's also because Indian business schools suck.

You missed the mark. Indians are generally OK on skills, they just don't give a flying crap. They show up, do what you tell them, leave. Low on ambition and ideas. They blow their money on white BMWs and $300 dress shirts so they couldn't be entrepreneurial if they tried. They're probably just happy to not be in Mumbai. The sad part is all the big companies are crying "more H-1Bs!" but these are jobs that could and should be done by American high-schoolers. Pretty sure they wash their hands because there are signs telling them to. Not familiar with "Code Diaper".

Criticisms are all true; they are shit and don't care they are shit.
That said, if you know how to crack the whip and spend as much on QA as you do for dev you can get decent results for half the cost or less of american devs.
They are the living embodiment of quantity over quality.

Not in coding but in QA for bank and we employ a lot of pajeets. The shit they do is by and large grunt work but they still manage to fuck it up in every possible way. And hearing them on the phones is just so fucking painful. Trusting them to do coding is retarded. But everything's a race to the lowest cost and if you say Indians are lazy or can't do their job you're a racist so everyone is fucked.

Almost every dev I know can relate to this. It's much better to give them grunt QA work they can't really screw up.

Outsourced jeets will waste your time flagging things that needn’t be flagged because of their paid-bounty mindset. You have to be extremely firm and exacting in how things work and what your expectations for them are. If you ask them to make a pop-up window and there is no modality they will waste your time, energy, and resources with you needing to hold their fucking hand.
I did work with one outsourced group very briefly that was top-notch and over delivered on their promises. So it is possible. It’s just rare.
