turtle method is great and all, but I don't know if it's the best way for an user who doesn't know elementary arithmetic.
>won't bode well for the V shaped recovery It already happened, YTD is green for half of shit. The market can stay retarded much longer than we can stay solvent - Memevesting 101. We need to see the credit market get rattled, and I mean really RATTLED. Best bet is a revenue shock from a second shutdown, but twice today some user (shitposting or not) has sperged out saying to exit all markets. It seems like larp, but I'm already 50% cash, 35% bonds, 15% hedged equities and tempted to believe that the crash is imminent and it's going to be for something turbo stupid. Something like a bomb at the NYSE or national blackout or some Zig Forums happeningfaggot retardation. Something REALLY fucking dumb.
Its over blumpf this is the end of the great economy you inherited from Barack Obama (pbuh). Its time to put power-brain joe biden in charge to turn this mess around.
Yes, SSL I also bought the beginning and end of the oil moon yesterday, but at least not the middle. I'm operating at like 105 IQ levels right now because I'm suffering some problems unrelated to the market, but it seems like it's enough to carry me through
whoever shilled nkla here last week thank you so much

Powell is going to come out and tell us he's run out of ammunition and it's going to take an act of Nancy Pelosi to save us. Then you'll see some real pink wojacks.
Blake Scott
Fuck snss, how the fuck is as soon as I sell it jumps 10 fucking %
>funnel life through credit card >settle funds once a month out of Robinhood to pay balance >paychecks go right into stocks >use 2% cash back at the end of year to pay taxes on gains
EZ. Cash is trash. Credit and equities are life.
Jace Morales
Well the IVR move was probably retarded but I don't blame you for selling NKLA that's sitting on a cliffs edge.
Gabriel Clark
Anyone have DRN
Nathan Young
Hold user, and you will make it.

Wait, ok. So if I buy AAPL at $340 and sell it at $240, but then immediately buy it back, I can't claim the capital loss because it's a wash sale. But then if it climbs back up to $340, and I sell it, is it considered capital gains? I would think it'd be calculated as a break-even.
>NKLA - Let me be blunt about this. They have an idea, a theory nothing more at this point. They have no trucks. They have no means of building said trucks. They have no means of fueling said trucks (no service stations). They do have orders though but till something rolls out of a plant somewhere I'm on the fence about them. A lot of things could go wrong. Anyone of which could cost you.
who cares, it's a cool truck on the picture, cool name, stonk goes up.
Brayden Ross
>It already happened, YTD is green for half of shit. Yeah, but it's all based on sentiment. Nothing is there. This shit is still reversible. I don't think bad Q2 earnings will trigger anything bigger than 15% down by themselves, just a correction, but I think it will mark the beginning of a true bear market, followed by a steadier recovery. I agree with you that a true crash will need to be preceded by something much bigger.
I’d like the rest of the week to finish green but if we lost another couple bucks on the price of everything I’d be fine with buying some cheapies tomorrow for things to moon at a later time. Either way I’d be pleased
Easton Powell
i hate this until i remember its literally free money. oh well
Don’t you have to 1099 every quarter if you make a certain amount?
And really, you don’t actually cut the check to Uncle Sam till almost halfway through the next year.
David Jones
I know, user. I know. I bought some last week too. My average is 9.3 at 125 shares and I think I might just keep buying as I get the cash until 15. I'm not all in on it though, but I did trim around 25 holdings to around 10 holdings between Thursday and today's close. I didn't have enough money to start really investing until April, and some of my early picks were dumb or just too early when I should have picked quicker recovering things first, so I'm hoping I can still get close to the yearly recovery with SSL and some other low risk high reward positions. Definitely beating inflation right now, at least. Do you think they'll fall again when OPEC opens up or just flatline and then slow grow?

Stocks only go up

>i don't understand what they do but it's $55 over my cost basis ftfy seething coper
Landon Anderson
I’m sitting on a little bit still and ive got another bit about to come in. Would love a green day dopamine rush but if it stays red til this money comes in that’d be alright too
Kevin Carter
>paying taxes to niggers
Nope, file as a non filer every year and tell them to get fucked
Connor Clark
Dont suicide seriously. Go read the Holy Bible, recommendation being to start in the New Testament. Jesus Christ has the gift of salvation. He died on the cross to save us from sin and eternal damnation and rose three days later. Be saved user.

>Infinity Big Bang Storm QE cripples the economy >Direct purchase of equities by the Fed cripples the economy >Negative rates (the ultimate forbidden magick) cripples the economy

IVR is tanking but I’m confident on SOLO Get in while you can boys
