>what is the thing they've been working on for years called eth 2.0 to create the ultra chad crypto which fixes literally every problem and you literally just have to wait

ah yes, im sure this magic fix will stop transactions from failing, pending transactions you cannot cancel, fees you get charged for literally no reason, balances that dont update, and orders that dont process which prevent you from making new orders. as soon as this switch is flipped everything will be fine
Eli Nelson
Won’t scale
James Cooper
most of the issues you described are probably because you didn't do something correctly like put in enough gas. but yes, once sharding is implemented, it will actually fix most of that shit for newbs
William Kelly
omg coin is working on an alternative, ive put some money into it. lets see where it goes
Henry Sullivan
See He gets it. Some of us understand the major shortcomings of Eth and how long it will take to fix and sort, if ever. The question for me is, what fills the empty spaces that Eth can't - Is it polkadot, or something else? Or are we stuck in the mud waiting for magic eth 2.0 to fix every problem?
It's all so tiresome

you guys seriously take this shit for granted. 2 years ago, ethereum was nothing more than a launch platform for ICO scams. there was no uniswap and kyber was nothing. so much development has happened recently. tornado cash, decentralized exchanges blooming, defi, eth 2.0 happening, etc. now you're crying because your transactions aren't happening quick enough. go try and use bitcoin and see how fast that works, or any other platform where there is absolutely nothing happening
Liam Rodriguez
You have good points. There has been awesome progress in two years. Tornado cash is dope and kyber has progressed significantly. Loopring, the zkRollup exchange is a great example of progress. At the same time, it has taken 2+ hours to withdraw from the exchange due to lacking requests and small batches. Cool product, still needs mucho worko
>transactions from failing this is a problem with how much gas you choose to spend >pending transactions you cannot cancel you van cancel transactions, but it costs gas and it doesn't work if the transaction makes it in the next block. this is how it has to be in order to prevent double spending >fees you get charged for literally no reason you agree to ever gas charge user, even the ones for failed transactions >balances that dont update, and orders that dont process which prevent you from making new orders now you are just complaining about Uniswap lmao

I'm going to get straight to the point.
Eth is fake and gay Bitcoin. It is a complete failure.
ethereum is beating the shit out of BSV and BTC in every possible way, except liquidity for BTC
Brody Adams
OMG is an actual scalable childchain for ETH and should be live in the next few days I believe user

>Loopring has its own dumb errors having a pretty smooth experience so far. what kind of errors did you run into?
Jaxon Ortiz
Quite lying. It's one thing to be ideological about a coin, but lying about the fundamentals is just sad.
A BSV transaction is far cheaper and quicker than an ETH Transaction. ETH can only handle up to 15 transactions per second, while BSV doesn't have a limit (or at least the limit hasn't been hit, and I've seen BSV up to 800 tx a second without a hiccup).
In summary, BSV is both cheaper and faster than ETH is to transact, and can scale, while ETH currently cannot, and probably won't be able to. Any app on ETH will factually run better if ported onto BSV.
Logan Turner
Yeah I’m sick of using ethereum too. Gas fees are so fucking high and cost too much to transfer tokens. Only reason people are paying theses high gas fees is to get into the next ponzi.
Julian Young
2+ hour withdrawal due to low number of request and small batches. More users will fix that. I'm happy to be so deep in this tech experience, but also do complain about the things that are actively being developed and fixed
Ayden Murphy
I agree, OP. I think I just spent 2 million in gas fees accidentally.
Charles Reyes
you know ethereum could just raise block size too right?
Thomas Bell
I'm not sure if that would fix all of ETH's issues, as I'm not familiar with what they've done to the code since it's inception. I do know that currently ETH functionally sucks ass.
If raising the block size limit would fix all of ETH's problems, then I encourage Vitalyk to do so, and have not idea why they haven't already. Literally, wtf.
Caleb Williams
8 hours and a transaction is still not coming through.
