Daily /collectibles/, /flipping/, /craigslist/ and /ebay/ thread . No talking about crypto please. What things have you been selling successfully on Ebay? Craigslist? FB marketplace What collectibles are you buying up? MtG? Pokemon? RareFrens? Digimon cards?

I'm going to buy a big ass pool after crypto moons, what are you selling? Floaties and shit like that?

Media is establishing a second wave narrative. How do we profit off of this? I don't think they're allowing sales of medical grade masks on Ebay/ Amazon yet but you could potentially flip locally or through selling apps etc. People will either resist it or become neurotically spooked. There's money to be made here.

Homemade sanitizer with pleasing aromas

Interesting debate on the racist Magic Cards being removed from existence. A few of them were already worth money so will this move make them go up even more or will it drop their value?

they're all reserved list now

masks is only the basic answer. you need to start thinking inception level selling. Yes everyone will have masks to sell. Instead sell MASK CLEANER. that way you can allow ppl to reuse masks

it's an interesting question.

one one hand the MTG cards will gain value from static demand and lowered supply. on the other hand they will lose value because of the lowered demand from ppl wanting to be associated with racist cards. Think Nazi memorabilia. Over all i'm not sure what will be lowered more the demand or the supply (relatively thinknig)

Wtb, but honestly if that’s what passes for white in MTG land I think they’ve already done enough

>Pokemon
Overpriced in the short to medium-term. PSA being closed down for months+all the coonsomers stimulus checks caused a huge artifical spike in demand. I assume the same is true for other TCGs.

In the long term it's a safer bet than Bitcoin, though.

>lowered demand from ppl wanting to be associated with racist cards.
Literally nobody cares that they are "racist" cards.

Kek. How do you even get away with something like that? The idea is funny though. If I didn't think people would report the shit out of me on platforms I'd try it out.

wym get away with it user?

I miss timespiral block, planar chaos had some serious overpowered cards

yes they do
im sure youve never played with a smelly pink neckbeard who says "i hate to play the RACE card, but..." while playing Invoke Prejudice

these guys ARE those noisome hirsute ruddy catamites

there's a pretty good market for racist collectibles, but they're not very highly priced.

the biggest risk is markets like ebay getting in trouble for allowing the sale of Black Americana and other historically racist stuff. At that point I'd guess the value would spike but you'd have a hard time finding somewhere to buy or sell it.

if pokemon ever gets put on the blockchain i will go all in. for 3 years of my life i was autism-focused on /r/pokemontrades

Here's an example of what I'm talking about. I recently sold a copy of this postcard from the 1920's Southern US. I have a handful of these sorts of offensively racist items. They're currently allowed for sale on ebay, but that could change if the public catches wind of it and starts complaining.

it's not valuable though. Worth about $3 at auction, which is low for a card of that age range and historical interest. There are hundreds of similar cards out there, and many dealers have a few. I have a small box of them. Not because I collect that sort of thing, it just happened to be popular among postcard collectors 100 years ago. I also have a pile of racist and offensive Native American postcards from the same time period. Those also sell well, but aren't valuable.

I stay in Japan, is there anything I could sell to the weebs in the west?

everything

Ironically Japan has some of the best proxy ordering systems in the world, you would have to target obscure items that can't be found online like comiket exclusives.

how can I sell my mtg cards? I got a fat collection like 50lbs. tons of good shit. what's easiest/best profit? eBay? prefer not to, buyers get the upper hand and I'll lose everything right?

Local facebook groups usually.
