>tfw have a genuine brilliant idea for a cryptocurrency
>tfw it will solve a huge problem with crypto and give more confidence to normies to use crypto
>tfw I have to build it myself and I have no idea how to code
Gonna learn from scratch but it’s gonna take a while

Solidity is a tricky one.

>billion dollar idea
I'm sure you do pumpkin

You sound like my 3 year old nephew who has a brilliant idea

Thanks fren

The tricky part is whether it will make me personally wealthy, I don’t think it will. Part of what will help the adoption of this particular token will be that I sell 30% very cheaply, and then leave the rest of the supply in a wallet never to be used.

I’m starting to understand why satoshi had to leave his BTC in those wallets. The fake supply gives more incentive to other holders to sell/use the token because they think their’s is just one of many. But he couldn’t use the massive supply because it would hurt the price accumulation. Gets me wondering whether if the US Fed said they were going to print 20 trillion but deliberately lied, whether it would boost the economy during a recession long enough to have a net positive affect. I imagine this affect wouldn’t be as big as for something like BTC back in the first year, but still it’s interesting to think about.

And what would that be?

It’s not a billion dollar idea, but it mitigates the biggest turn off for normies to get into crypto and would create a miniature economy in its own little niche. There is currently no solution to the problem in question and no coin or token that even claims to solve it.

>over 9000 tokens currently
>0 uses for all of them

biggest turn off for normies is probably the usability. they don't want to send money to some weird address which they carefully have to check if it's correct, otherwise the money is lost.

the other turn off is the acceptance of crypto. normies buy at amazon, bey, etc. none of the bigger online stores accest crypto, so why bother? especially if you can just use FIAT?

the third turn off would be the volatility, why would they buy bitcoin or crypto in general when they can lose a lot of money?
they don't understand the benefits they get from it.

is your idea a problem solving for one of these?

desu, the biggest benefits of bitcoin right now are
a) buy shady stuff from the darknet
b) hope to make money from the volatility

why else would you buy or use bitcoin? what is the appealing aspect for the normies so it can get mass adoption?
