the way to lose your REN is to send it to your dark node address manually instead of just clicking the UI buttons via metamask, this is clearly outlined in the tutorial
it comes with a one click setup script for VPS like mydigitalocean, which does all of the basic ubuntu OS security/firewall shit and installation for you. it's incredibly brainlet friendly
You want to take a loan on AAVE using your BTC? Now you can with renBTC (well, maybe not yet added to AAVE but I recall a tweet about it coming). It's BTC (and other coins like ZEC and BCH for now) on Ethereum, opening the DeFi door to the king of crypto. Other projects exist for BTC on Ethereum but REN is the only working decentralized solution

no no, they make pennies right now (just launched) or they would all be sold out. you're speculating on the volume once it's integrated into more platforms, and as long as crypto doesn't die down completely or one chain BTFO's all others completely, you should be good during ups and downs, as volume always happens
No. You divide the earnings by half then divide that half by the number of active darknodes. The half not distributed goes onto next month's pool, so eventually the earnings will increase. It's a good reward system, if the product they are offering takes off in the space it could be huge.
