lmao what kind of retard invests in car rentals
Asher Adams
I bought a car from then recently for cheap
Jack Flores
I bought at .83 cents and sold at 5. Then I bought more at 3.5 and now I'm fucked
Dominic Myers
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nathan Thompson
It’s even better: a bankrupt car rental company currently in chapter 11
Jonathan Cooper
Zero. What kind of person would ever invest in a bankrupt car rental company?
Andrew Nelson
there are decent car renting agencies but hertz just sucks. you need to fill out online forms give all up all your data upfront then choose cars online on a web form that'd have been called out of date in the 2000s.
they have 0 flexibility. if you just go in to a hertz they'll tell you book through their website. i literally never had this with any other rental agency, always got their currently available/soon to be returned cars on spot.
Eli Mitchell
Are they liquidating cars already? Did you just go to one of their stores and buy it?
Hudson Bennett
Enterprise and Hertz have their own car sale locations where they sale off cars they no longer rent. They are usually cheaper than the price on kelly blue book, have low mileage, pre-owned certified, and have been cared for well.
Matthew Morris
interested in this desu. Got a beater 96 civic I wouldnt mind trading in for a nice gently used chapter 11 mobile.
Angel King
>rented cars
>have been cared for well
Hunter Ross
>and have been cared for well.
well...
Bentley Long
Well, I guess I worded that wrong lol. Should have said they are cared for well enough, better than most used car dealerships.
Oliver Rogers
this. enterprise is actually a decent experience in comparison desu.
Wyatt Green
ok i also just gave in to the meme. i've been driving a LOT of rental cards and 90% of the time they're in pretty mint condition
yup enterprise is WAY more flexible.
Nathan Kelly
>pre-owned certified
this doesn't matter much. if the mechanics are pushover cucks, they can basically get anything certified pre-owned.
also every rental I've driven had something wonky with it, be it paint damage or it drove like shit. I personally would only buy used inventory if I was desperate for a fungible temp car.
Henry Hughes
Yeah I agree, that's why I usually take it to a mechanic that I know to have the car checked out before buying. What car did you drive that drove like shit?
Isaiah Baker
They might be clean but people drive rental cars like shit so its probably fucked under the hood. But if it's a good car and new you should be alright. Last time I rented a car I went over all the potholes and revved the shit out of it
Jose Rodriguez
2018 Nissan Versa. but that could just be the fact that Nissan sucks ass. that was about 3 months ago during the beginning of rona fears.
Jacob Myers
>Should have said they are cared for well enough, better than most used car dealerships.
lmao
I redline every rental car I drive for almost the entire time I drive them and always manually shift them like a retard because it's fun.
I wouldn't own a used rental car if you paid me.
Chase Jones
none cause im not a fucking retard.
Robert Cooper
Yeah Nissan Versa aren't the best cars so that could be why.
Thomas Garcia
>buy hertz stock before news
>it makes profit
>hear news of selling more shares even tho bankrupt
>hold shares because clown market
>shares PUMP
>sell shares for profit
just in time
Blake Clark
These anons know what's up. There is more money to be had on the liquidation of the company's assets rather than the stonk. It should be telling that a company already has a special process for disposing of assets, it's worth monitoring this closely.

Most car rental places have this thing called a website and it shows you cars they have for sale.
John Johnson
HTZ: After bankruptcy filing at $3, the bankruptcy judge allowed a new issue of common stock; pundits called it insane, and said the stock is worth zero (after it had climbed "irrationally" to $6 then fallen to $2). The same judge cares about her reputation. I think she will not cheat the common-stock buyers whom she herself encouraged. This is only Chapter 11 "reorganization", not Cpter 13 destruction. This judge will not make the common stock worth zero after bankruptcy, given what she has done. Robinhood zoomers may prevail over shorting boomers.
Jaxson Turner
Im seriously considering buying a used hertz car. They are liquidating a large portion of the fleet

Henry Turner
Why did you buy back in, the music was bound to stop.
Asher Miller
I bought some puts. I'll sell them before Hertz gets delisted.
