No because the money tied up the bags you’re holding could be potential profit in the here and now. But if you’re sitting back playing the long game it doesn’t matter. The most important thing is to cut and run if you’re fucking with penny shit and things don’t bounce your way get out ASAP.
June 16, 2020 - 21:53
Correct. Have watched it happen along with the seven stages of cope people go through while the hole gets deeper and deeper. Did same thing myself when i started as well.

Damaged assets may never fully recover, and you have to think of your opportunity cost of bagholding. You could probably make good plays off damaged assets as many did, but they eventually tank again as many did.

I'd be up 12k had I sold today morning, than powell dumped stuff...again should've sold at open and was considering it but didn't. Had I sold half of my positions I'd be up 6k at least. Really should've done that but the options are banking on reopening which can result in bigger gains if good news comes in the next few weeks.
June 16, 2020 - 21:58
Why do I keep buying random penny stocks and doing nothing with them and selling at the first poomp?
June 16, 2020 - 21:59
Now is your chance to buy some cruise shares. Don't wait until after hours end or you'll be too late, they're already recovering.
June 16, 2020 - 21:59

That picture comes from this (2018):bespokepremium.com /think-big-blog /take-the-trading-day-off / But bespoke has been talking about this since 2014 when they warned the pattern might "fade when more people become aware of it":bespokepremium.com /wp-content /uploads /2014 /03 /B.I.G.-Tips-Buy-At-The-Close-Sell-In-The-Morning.pdf
It might just be that shorts have to open positions at the beginning of the day. So you get a little bump upwards. It isn't much but it adds up over time.
June 16, 2020 - 22:08
hedging is your better bet.
June 16, 2020 - 22:08
?
Only set it for how much you're willing to lose if everything goes to shit, or just take off 11% or something, or during a trading day just constantly set it within 75 cents of the current price
I don't know anything about trading though.
