I work like 50 to 60 hours a week fucking HARD and it is terrible.
Maintenance supervisor. Once a week; friday, I have to do about 5 hours of actual work. Mon-thursday it's sit at desk and surf web, drive around town and visit with friends and occasionally fap.
About 75% of my time in the army matches this description

I do. I'm in analytics/modeling at a bank. The workload I get is so simple that I can get my work done in 10-15 hours a week and then do nothing the rest of the time. It's because our team has like 7 analysts/modelers so the workload is spread out pretty well. I get paid a lot to work 15 hours a week so I'm content.
That sounds pretty comfy user.
What degree would I need to get a position like yours?
I've got a degree in quantitative finance from Georgia Tech. I am super overqualified for my role which is probably why i get to slack off as much as I do. But I'd rather make 90k + bonus for working 15 hours a week than make double that working 50 hours a week. Plus i'm in a low cost city.
Is it a local/regional bank or a large national one?
It's a national one. I've already given way too much info out and don't want to get doxed. But it's one of the largest banks in the US.
"Instructional designer"
>College faculty 50-80 year old boomers can't Canvas/Blackboard
>I literally take their incoherent babble and make it look pretty on a Canvas/Blackboard page
>It takes maybe 1hr each day to cover what they need me to do
>I'm negotiating a transition to fully remote work since I've proven to be just as effective during this beer flu
>I literally watch stocks, play HOMMIII and TF2, work my way through Peaky Blinders episodes (any idea what next?), answer a few emails here and there between other shit and that's a typical day
>Some days I literally do nothing work related
$61k salary + benefits
I want a second job so I can double up my salary
based, are you at a plant/factory then? I'm a PLC guy ... the work comes and goes.
Fucking same!! I’m in public accounting. Give me one of those 2 hours of work day jobs.
School cleaner, we only do 2 hours a week. but get paid for 16.
I'm a software engineer. Some days I decide to do some work, other days I decide to take off and post on Zig Forums/fap/work out/nap.
Pretty much, but it's more like work for 2 minutes, fuck off for 45, work for 5 minutes fuck off for 30 minutes. I'm a logistics ops supervisor with L Brands. Basically I make sure shit keeps moving, but in my staff of ~40 direct reports I have everything I need done automatically. I'm basically a glorified babysitter of niggers and illegals who also approves PTO and fires people when the company actually let's me. I sit in my office and trade until the market closes, walk around my warehouse floor bullshit with the guys before sitting in my office watching futures.
Compliance Officer here. I work Monday-Thursday 8 hours a day. Actually work about 5-10 hours/week.
patent lawyer lol
they work more than 2 or 3 hours but not by much
Ever since covid happened I literally do 30-60 minutes of real work a day at home and get paid the same full salary
Social services for the county. Job is paid for by govt grants and a couple other audited sources.
Pay is shit, benefits are just okay. Some people in my building work their asses off and are constantly behind. Many others barely work an hour or two a day.
Vascular technologist, you only work if patients are scheduled. no patients = you literally sit around all day.
I wish I had thought to study something decent at uni instead of fucking media studies
Yeah that’s me, especially now with wfh. Management is shit, I can go 2-3 days with doing absolutely nothing and nobody notices. Still making salary
Architectural technician
Do 3 4 hours a day while listening to dnb or trance and then play with my dog for the rest of the day and work out
It's good.
since corona I've been working from home, which is max 3-4 hours of actual work a day, more like 1-2. how the fuck do i convince my employers to let me work from home indefinitely when I live 10 minutes away? even 3 or 4 out of 5 days from home would be amazing
Emphasize your safety and spending time with family. At least that's what I'm going to say if I have to go back in office.
Are you me, user? I also live 10 mins away from my workplace and currently work remotely and spend much less time being productive than in the office. I'm efficient as fuck so they don't really notice
User experience and Interaction designer
I work with companies who pay an outrageous day rate of $650 (In Australia).
Work is super chilled and drowning in buzzwords that once understood are relatively simple and easy process to complete.
The beauty is that all it took was a 10-week Bootcamp for qualification and pajeets on youtube tutorials.
