>Fixed an issue the In IBC prototype where there were problems with incorrect sequences in the process of relaying transactions between chains. github.com/cosmos/cosmos-sdk/pull/2896
>Fixed an issue which led to a block delay in querying the account, implemented a new query method to resolve the delay. . github.com/cosmos/cosmos-sdk/pull/3767

>Tendermint based modules developed for Sentinel's Tendermint dVPN app
SENT's latest publication covers both the team's custom strategy to score the highest number of points in the GameOfZones Phase 2, as well as the importance that Phase 2 had on thoroughly stress-testing cosmos IBC
The multi-channel relayer used by the Sentinel team to achieve the highest throughput in the competition (transactions per second) has been fully open-sourced and is referenced in the blog post.
The Phase 2 of the GOZ competition tested the current version of the IBC protocol to it's limits and allowed for unique strategies to be deployed that allowed participants to showcase their ingenuity in the aspect of increasing packet throughput.
participation to cosmos initiatives is a necessary step that will lead to sentinel main net launch, which will allow staking and full monetization of the dVPN nodes.
currently sent tendermint chain its on testnet and being validated by some cosmos validators: explorer.sentinel.co/
before the launch of sentinel own blockchain there are some closer upcoming releases:
>IOS app >improvements to the android app >v3 desktop client >enterprise private nets integration
thats cool, so i will be able to use the dvpn for free on ios ?
Ethan Lee
Why should I buy your bags on some random shitty exchange when Orchid is on Coinbase?
Easton Scott
yeah, it will be free to use till launch of sent main net then full bandwidth monetization will be enabled, allowing anyone to sell their own bandwidth thus undercutting centralized legacy VPNs , sentinel will uberize the bandwidth market making vpns cheaper for consumers and unlocking enormous amounts of untapped value, imagine all the consumers that will be able to sell their bandwidth which previously went just unused
Sent has lower mcap so bigger possible upside, orchid is full of silicon valley scam vcs waiting to dump at breakeven upside is limited Sent has a more mature product and will launch its own chain
Ryder Cooper
have you even tried orchid ? i did and their product is unusable, its a UX nightmare , no way normies will be able to figure out how to manage multiple tokens, you have to hold both eth and oxt in your wallet to use their service, and learn how to send eth txns while hoping the network is not congested.
after main net sent will integrate fiat on ramps (credit cards etc..) so it will be even easier then buying from coinbase.
Isn't Orchid already on it's own chain? And what has Sentinel been doing for the last two years? Been waiting for IoS for ages.
Jacob Wilson
also sentinel will allow to pay for nodes in any crypto coin on top fo the fiat gateways. it will do so either through an internal dex launched after their main net or by allowing nodes to accept any coin. the second option should create synergy between sent and other crypto projects as their community will be able to offer additional usecase for any coin by hosting dVPN nodes.
xmr hodlers will be able to host dvpn nodes accepting xmr
But won't using my card details not make me user? Mullvlad you can create your own account and pay user with crypto anyway. How is Sent better for me?
Alexander Parker
Ok that sounds like it's more an inter-corporate set up. So there is a Sentinel VPN for individuals and one for buisness?
Tyler Brown
No orchid is on ethereum , they have to share that clogged unscalable chain with countless other dapps. Sentinel has had multiple releases in the last years Working desktop client , android client its own tendermint chain testnet, various improvements to both clients.
sent will allow to pay both with crypto and with credit cards, also on main net they will probably deploy an onchain mixer to further obfuscate payments.
sentinel has multiple solutions the normal dvpn for consumers and the enterprise solution private nets, which will allow any business, corporation government or legacy vpn provider to integrate with sentinel infrastructure . both protocols will probably be interoperable thanks to sentinel multi hop relay net so you will be able to bounce your data through multiple nodes on both the consumer and enterprise side to get the best possible privacy
you can download it from here, sent is widely used way more then 99% of other crypto projects, it has around 60k weekly users, close to 4 million total sessions and more then 50k downloads on the android app you can check the stats here :
SENT pump 2.0 here. Already up 50% since I noticed SENT shilling starting again on BIZ. Made ez 4x on the last pump last year.
Luis Hernandez
I bought this back when it was below a tenth of a cent. 100k bag. SENTINELS ASSEMBLE
Parker Wright
fuck off pajeet, we aint in sent for a mini pump. The staking rewards from this will lucrative.
Gavin Morris
DVPN? Yea right.
Samuel Brooks
sent community is hosting all nodes, and after main net they will get payed for it so its definitely a dvpn it allows suppliers and consumers to meet on a global censorship resistant platform, suppliers will have to compete to offer the best price and performance, this should bring down vpn costs of the whole vpn industry
Kayden Butler
I think sent and bat should partner, both projects would benefit a lot
Isaiah Butler
sent doesn't have enough nodes yet, it would not be able to service all bat users, but for sure in the future it would be an amazing partnership , nodes could start accepting BAT in exchange for bandwidth
Hudson Hall
Bat token would become a bit more usefull, and brave would be able to offer a service superior to its competitors.
Parker Hernandez
It starts to become interesting when it's on cosmos, before they it's kinda a great idea. Personally I'm waiting on that before I start using it.
Luis Lewis
Yeah main net is gonna make sent fully functional with monetization and governance
Hunter Morales
When is that actually going to happen though? I haven't being following sent for long but I can see they haven't delivered on a ton of stuff.
Isaiah Thompson
it also would make using bat easier cause on sent chain you won't need eth to move your tokens all tokens will be able to be whitelisted to be used to pay for txn fees through governance
