The coin is essentially an upgrade of dai it is going to be used for day to day transactions etc.
imagine a version of dai which has almost 99% less fees and takes 5 seconds to send and receive that is basically what this coin is doing.
It will become one of the new standards in stable coins. Current stable coins, tether/dai etc are slow and have fees like hell due to the fact that they are simply erc-20 tokens
xdai stake is a etherum side chain allowing this coin to have exponentially less fees and much faster transaction time
