I think I have finally figured out what is happening and why it's happening to us.

We are all collectively the creators of this universe. No, I'm not talking about collective consciousness, although that may or may not be impacting certain aspects of what's happening.
I'm talking about us creating a simulation, a "matrix" if you will. For ourselves. We created this for us to experience.
Everything that has happened, is happening, will happen has already been programmed into the fabric of this matrix. Hence why you hear schizos proclaim that there is no time. The timeline is preexisting, we're simply experiencing it.
Clearly the game we created is nearing completion. We are on the final chapter.
This is evident by the craziness going on in the world. There are people literally losing their fucking minds, yet most of us don't give a shit.
We have learned to take a neutral stance. Instead of fighting against the system we just accept it and observe. We are in this for the experience, after all.

We are most likely living our final reincarnation. After this we return to our higher self and choose to play another matrix, or just chill and contemplate what we learned.
Remember, Chainlink was programmed into this matrix since the beginning. We knew certain people would discover it. It's our ultimate toy before we leave this world behind.
Perhaps those who were allowed to find it have learned their lessons in this world and now get to bear the fruits, who knows.
One thing is certain, it'll let us have anything we want in this matrix. It's like using a cheat code in GTA after you've completed the game and no longer give a fuck about the story.
