Ordered a nano x hardware wallet to have peace of mind but I've since read about a ton of issues and even malware attacks such as this

I'm wondering how Zig Forums stores their crypto and what they'd recommend? Thanks.

tattooed my seed phrase across my butthole in really tiny font backwards so i can read it in the mirror

Even you're down syndrome boyfriend wouldn't be able to figure that out when he's tossing your salad.

kek
ledger is for nonwhites. whites and jews use coldcard:
coldcardwallet.com/

Exactly, so it's secure even from my retarded lover! CRYPTOGRAPHY MASTER

>20 years from now
>look at asshole for private key
>letters blurred out from tattoo fade
>mfw I have no face

That's fine for bitcoin but where are you going to store your suicide stack of chainlink?

>implying I won't die from a massive heart attack from all the cocaine and hooker usage coming up once Link makes me massively wealthy
Appreciate the sentiment though fren

you lost it when you bought it

1 LINK = 1 LINK still mang

I printed each of my 24 seed words out and imprinted them separately on sheets of 304-grade stainless steel. I then buried each steel plate in locations around the world, meeting different strangers in each location and providing them with discrete information about myself so in case I die my family will be able to reverse geo-track my travels and discover the plates.

Much love fren. You’d be better off tattooing the mnemonic phrases as symbols that look like normal tattoos.

pls halp how to generate a seed phrase without the internet touching it? ie not one of those generator sites ?
i'm presuming if you only ever use the same original recieve address then there'll be no problemo?

>mang
>linkholder
I rest my case.

you can download those generators from github and run the generator offline

lol i have been warning you fags for years
SNAKE OIL SECURITY

so what do you recommend?

cold store: bip38 paper wallets stored at multiple locations also digitally using strong passphrase over 25 characters.
spend wallet: just use a mobile wallet samsung gonna roll out secure chipped phones for it any day now.
hot wallet with serious sum: trezor maybe not hardened against side channel attacks like ledger but better security model. at least used to be. preferably multisig mode.

i just use electrum and store it on a usb stick.

Any physical medium is susceptible to be lost or stolen, store that shit in your brain. Don't let anyone tell you the human memory is not reliable, if you can't remember 12 words you don't deserve the coins.

is this any more safe than just having a desktop wallet on ur pc?

I memorised my btc private key.

I’d rather use a shitskin hardware wallet then anything a Jew uses

i tattoo them on the bodies of underage asian slaves

It's overvalued but if you're holding $100k+ it's nice to have.
If Tyrone could read he would steal your money.

safer against malware and cyber attacks (assuming the manifacturer is not a lying cunt and the device checks the tx it signs properly change address and all)

but when used improperly its also a physical attack vector and a hole in your security scheme.

sorry the electrum usb thing is not any safer lol no
i was talking hardware wallets

This “attack” is exactly why you have a ledger to check the address on before sending the funds. Verify it’s the same shown one the screen.

basically your security model comes down to secure redundancy and large enough pool of entropy (strong passphrase or mnemonic seed)

the electronic devices are a distraction because they promise you don't have to deal with a strong password and be secure. but that's a lie.

and that is why hardware wallets are SNAKEOIL SECURITY. it's all bullshit. you pay $100 for a gadget but you still have to secure your crypto just the same as if you didn't had one.

you verify the send address but you also verify the change address on your display? do you even know if you have the keys for the change address? this shit is so easy to trick.
