Hey frens, I am 27 now and was working some jobs, did an apprentice ship and kinda wasted my life this way.
I already thought about going to university a few years ago to study Business Administration. But I didn't, because I thought 24 would be too old and also because Business Administration is so overrun.
However I am sick of my current job and really don't know what to do.
On the other hand:
Who the fuck is interested in some 30 year old graduate later on, who studied such an overrun subject like Business Administration, when there are people who are 8 years younger?
I am getting more and more anxious about my life every day, because I realize, that I am running out of time and am a fucking loser.
Is it too late to start studying with 27?
just buy chainlink
Just keep waiting. That definitely is the solution.
too late is 60. why wouldnt you spend 4-6 years to improve with fucking 30+ years of wageslaving left.
Fren I'm 30..just turned and in same position. Although most of my life was wasted with drugs and doubting every path. Feels like a dream, I know damn well if I out my efforts into something I could do it. It's just nothing sticks out to me as my path...and I felt I was too late 7 or 8 years ago.
I just think that no employer would want some 30 year old graduate, when there are 22 year olds as well
No need for schools, just study something worth and work as a freelance
I was you 3 years ago. Fucked around doing nothing until I was 28. Decided to get my shit together and went to community college. Completed that in a year and a half then transferred to a university and finished my undergrad in business administration in a year and a half. Started 2 ecommerce sites with classmates and pulling in $8k/month net profit. Decided to take the GMAT at the start of this year and applied to MBA programs, recently accepted into a top 10 program. Life's too short to dick around doing nothing, user. At the end of the day, we're the main ones holding ourselves back.
user I was in your shoes at like 26. Quit my job started with small courses and eventually went and did an undergrad and masters. Havent the done a PhD because uni is virtually a scam and doesn't guarantee you anything especially if you're not a people person and/or have existing connections.
I'm not a people person and even with my high grades and good work, I think they would just prefer to employ someone that fits in a doesn't shake the boat.
I know plenty of people that finished their degrees in their late 20s/early 30s that eventually ended up with a decent career making high 5 figures or even 6.
Youre not in a bad position, you can use your work/apprenticeship experience as leverage over your younger competition
Whatever it is you want to do just know that the longer you wait to act the worse it will be
I'm 30 and just going back to college. Never too late to get your life back together.
This right here OP!
I'm 27 and going to uni. Employers typically prefer someone with real world experience than some over grown child. The places only want younger people do so because they are easy to manipulate and push around
lmao no, it's literally never too late. my uncle finished his masters degree in architecture at 64.
stop being a whiny bitch
It's literally never too late to do anything bud.
pretty much this
crystallized intelligence is a meme designed to gatekeep and make people feel like shit
If you're trying to convince yourself it's too late to change your life, then you're just looking for an excuse. There are people who would kill to be in their 20s again and tackle/pursue something. Stop being a bitch, that is all.
It’s not too late, just be absolutely sure you pick something you want to do and will finish. Ending up in a position where you want to drop out again at that age, even if it’s legitimately not for you, is soul crushing.
Why study when you can just come in here and catch the next uniswap pump?
Here, thank me later. Get in at the beginning for once.

If you don't act now then in 3 years you'll be a literal 30 year old boomer asking yourself the same question. To answer your question, it's not too late now and it won't be too late in 3 years either, but you should start as soon as possible. Carpe diem
Thanks for the heads up frens. If I won't take action I will still be where I am now in 3 years and nothing changed. I'll get my ass back to university.
I thought about that, but I am not willing to compete with a bunch of Pajeets on Upwork for some low paying jobs.
27 is way too old to be trying to get a career. Wouldn't you be happier flipping burgers or whatever it is you do? What kind of person tries to improve their lot in life lmao.
Any auscunts here? Im in the exact same boat expect im 21. My interests are finance, commerce and politics. Im a humanities guy. I did well in school but dropped out early and never attempted ATAR. dont even have a diploma. currently working a shitty job for 50k/year. please fucking advise. I dont want to completely waste my life shit tier wagecucking.
30 IS NOT OLD. Chronic, obsessive, neurotic fappers.
30 year old boomer is just a meme retard. I'm 28 and just starting to work towards a career change. Just moved back into my mom's house to save money and I probably won't move back out until I'm passed 30
Absolute retards. I was working a codemonkey corporate wageslave job at 22 with "new grads" who just finished their masters or undergrad. About half of them were late twenties to early thirties.
Stop letting your own insecurities put up blockers in your life.
Join the military.
hope your paying rent and taking out the trash,at least. Remember your mom when shes old and take care of her for tolerating a whimsical 28 year old.
I didn't graduate from college until I was 29. I had military specific experience which got me a high paying job but I found that a lot of doors were closed to me since I only had like 60 credits. I would suggest going to a cheap community college, maybe even online, doing the minimum effort possible and just get that piece of paper. Alternatively, just lie about your degree, nobody has ever asked to see mine.
Any advice for my situation?
>Get BS B.S. degree at 22 circa 2008
>Do BS for a few years
>Land e-commerce job at big B2B company
>Learn a few marketing and programming skills
>Fast forward 6 years
>Make $70k, want to advance
>Can't move up, can't move out.
I don't really want to get a master's. I've always been the 'idk what I want to do when I grow up' guy
I'm 36 and a single dad and I'm just now starting college lol
/learn to code
It's too late when you are dead. Trying to make your life better is always the good call. Doesn't matter how old you are. Ignore the salty neets.
>I just think that no employer would want some 30 year old graduate
YOUR THINKING WRONG FREN.
Dont think this way its not true and if you think this way you are just arbitrarily self-imposing artificial limitations and boundaries on your possibilities.
I went to college for the first time at around 25+. Didn't finish or get a real job until about 30 y.o.
but it completely changed my life and gave me new opportunities for real careers i never would have thought i could have had before.
happy with what i did and feel lucky to be able to have done it., glad i made the leap and took the chances i did and went through all the hard work involved
you can change your career. change your life. change your future
27 is a good age to do this, and don't even think about anything else but what you want to do. follow your genuine interests in this. pick something your interested in and have some natural ability or talent at at least on some level.
