I got a feeling "work from home" is here to stay for those jobs that can be done that way. Think about it. Company don't gotta fork out as much money in salaries if the average joe/jane can get the job done in 4 hrs v.s the full 8 it used to require. Say "ok we're gonna cut your salary in half cause we aren't gonna pay you for those 4 hrs you sit on your ass and do nothing. May also lead to less health insurance costs cause why have a company wide health plan if most of your employees never even bother coming into the office?

Yes, also stem degrees have highest drop out rates. If you gonna pay for stem degree make sure you are good at math and physics before entering and love progarmmming and building stuff in general. Otherwise it will be a dead end. In general going for any career without talent and solely for money is bad choise, good example is dentistry with very high suicide rate where people start practising solely for money. It is most horrifying job there is ofcourse.
