How much do you guys spend a month? What percentage of your investments should be PM's? Do you let family or friends know you stack?

Attached: 20200621_172333-1.jpg (2188x2285, 1.26M)

I have spent 18k in the last month on precious metals in order to buy myself into a position I hadn't had before in an effort to diversify away from cash and cardboard collectibles. I have convinced my mother to buy silver and ny father to buy gold. I have told some of my best friends about the need to buy silver and the reasoning for doing so, but it's up to them if they believe me or not.

Guys is Monument Metals trustworthy? They seem to have the lowest prices most of the time.

Your a better man then I, I stopped trying to tell anyone about PMs cause I feel like it's one of those things I don't want anyone to know I have, other then my parents and a couple other close relatives I never talk to anyone about this stuff

Gold price very exciting right now.

ITS HAPPENING

Does anyone know what the bump limit for Zig Forums is?
I thought it was 300, so that's when I've been making new threads, but the old thread still seems to be bumping back to page 1.
If the bump limit is higher than 300, I'll wait longer to make new threads...

relax, premiums are already so high above spot that a $5 or $15 spot price increase won't really change premiums by much. in fact, even when spot tanked in march, it didn't have a major effect on premiums. the best time to buy PMs, is whenever you can afford to. i'm dead serious. waiting for dips is a waste of time, especially now. the cat's out of the bag. INFINITE QE to backstop all the bad debt that's out there, and no they don't give a single shit about helping consumer or student debt.

I never wait for dips, I just buy on exciting pumps like a fomo retard

>the best time to buy PMs, is whenever you can afford to.
that's my strategy

Like I said, it was just a few close friends. The problem I find myself having is what to do with the other 30k I have in cash, and to what degree I'll be able to cash out of the collectibles market. I want to do something crazy with it, but I have no idea what it could be.

>How much do you guys spend a month?
Depends on income, spot price + premiums, specials/sales, current events etc... highly individual circumstances dependent
>What percentage of your investments should be PM's?
Again, personal choice. Standard normie numbers are usually 5%-10%. Around here it's something like 35%-100% depending on how deep down the rabbit hole you've gone.
>Do you let family or friends know you stack?
Still definitely a personal choice. Some don't let anyone know, for a variety of reasons including:
- OP-SEC. If noone knows, they can't steal/report/tax/confiscate etc.
- Fear of ruining relationships. If it goes badly for any one of a number of possible reasons, they might blame you, rightly or wrongly. Many a family/friend/significant other relationship has been destroyed by $$$ issues.
- It's all so tiresome. After a while of trying to convince people of a need for action, and getting a reaction that ranges from the glazed-eye can't-understand or don't-want-to-think-about-it look, to the "you think about things too much user, maybe you should just relax"... sometimes it's easier to just do you and let them keep on keepin' on.
- Cold hard self interest. Less people know about it now, the more it's possible to accumulate affordably now.
- Paranioa. You hoard PMs and research government/bank/illuminati shenanigans? Welcome to the watchlist, user.

I've mentioned PMs and financial shenanigans by TPTB to a few family and friends who are receptive. I don't discuss my stacking specifically in detail with anyone.

There were several dips though

>sold some old electronics for $290

Tell me what to buy with it. I have a nice stack but idk what to add to it. Decide for me.

Bull shit, 36.8 ounces of silver at 80% is worth $517 US. You really trying to say you spent 330$ US for 517$ in silver?

sounds like larping. and the thumbnail doesn't help

i treat PMs like a savings account, not investment, not hedge, nothing. just a place to put money, if it goes down a few bucks, oh well, better than having it in the banks or paypal. spot price is fake & gay anyway so it doesn't even matter.

When you say nice stack, what are we talking?
- silver ozs, gold ozs, how many?
- coins/bars ratio?
- what country/region?
- what kind of other prep have you done already, eg food/water/water purification, guns/ammo, seeds/growing methods and materials, bug out bag(s), 1st aid and other useful items, barter items... will you be bugging out to another location or bugging in and sheltering in place? Or do you not think that there is even a small chance that things will get to that point and therefor aren't going to prep for anything past a 1 or 2 week hiccup?

It's a highly individual-circumstances-dependant decision, but this info will help with advice.

i should say:
*just a place to put fiat and hold value, because PMs are real money

PM’s are a pretty shit savings account considering your paying 5% in and 5% out.
