no, but 20 trillion is
Been shorting ADA on bitmex in the 860-900 range and cashing out around 760-800 range. Been making me easy AF money for the past week and a bit. Thank you based Cardano.
Hmm didnt know you could already short this.
90 billion is realistic
short ADA?
yes but i'd go long until at least 2000 sats.
I see,,,based
based hodginsonnerino is going to btfo vitaliko butterino.
Fuck this insufferable faggot
Zig Forums would be balls deep in Cardano if Charles weren't reddit personified. oh well, their loss
ada will start pumping soon. a lot of news in the coming weeks. Zig Forums will be left behind like always.
with uniswap scams :D
90 billions isn't even a x100 lol
I'll take 36x with a coin that actually has real resources going into development and is pushing the tech forward. Cardano is for those looking for a passion project because they love the tech, not the jeet coin pumpers.
His last AMA was a little spicy. He called BLM a Marxist revolution under the guise of civil rights.
if ETH2.0 doesn't come out this year but ADA delivers. it might be OVER for vitaliko and frens.
>Cardano is for those looking for a passion project because they love the tech
Eth is literally the only relevant smart contract platform. Even if ADA were to go live, they'd have to port every project that's already live on ETH over, and then they'd have to try to steal all ETH's users to a platform with less liquidity and volume.
It is over. Eth could die tomorrow and every other platform would still be 5 years behind. Network effects are real.
Oh you poor lost soul
Yeah, and I don't think that's going well. It seems they are still operating on a shoestring budget. Peter's twitter melt down after the miners voted to increase the gas limit says a lot. They have like 4-5 staff running the whole thing and they seem resource strapped. ETH2 doesn't inspire confidence with the vagueness about timeline and even specifics. Sounds like they aren't even 100% convinced of PoS as there was word of also looking into a PoW variant. So if there is that kind of talk, it makes it seem like they are a lot further behind than people realize. What's clear is that current infrastructure simply can't handle the next iteration of adoption. So if they don't pick up the pace quickly, another settlement layer will be there with better tech. My money is on Cardano.
The exact same community that fostered bitcoin before you streetshitters found a way to feed your villages.
Charles would honestly be super based if he didn't have basedface.
ETH2.0 will not come out this year.
you haven't actually used ETH right?
it was very cool at one time. fees were less than $0.02 and everything worked fast. Not anymore. ETH has grown past its boundaries and its starting to crack. ETH2.0 needs to come soon or ETH is going to be yet another Bitcoin core.
I am 50/50 ETH/ADA.
Bought more because of this.
>and then they'd have to try to steal all ETH's users to a platform with less liquidity and volume.
yeah you only trade, opinion disregarded.
I mean yeah most of us arent selling Cardano basically ever, we arent exiting buddy boyo, long term.
what dex do you use?
THe last DEX i've used was the KMD dex on mobile atomicdex.io
I haven't used an ETH dex since Etherdelta.
I don't buy that argument. What project is so important that the world can't proceed in any other direction other than Ethereum? You overplay just what is already out there. We are so stupidly early in the game of adoption that it's retarded to pick a winner right now. Even if Etherum is the front runner, it means nothing at this point. The majority of traffic on the network is meaningless speculation. Your banking, property taxes, elections, vital records, etc are not on a chain. The rest of the world is completely operating without blockchain. So to say that Ethereum has won due to some speculator projects is silly. Google could come out tomorrow with G-Chain and the majority of normies would flock to it as would many speculators and pool operators. It only takes one big company to either release their own public chain or adopt a public chain other than Etherum, and the game is completely wide open. Ethereum is complete shit and only holds the lead because of network effect, but that network effect could be built overnight if a big player got in the game on a different chain. Why would these tech firms choose Ethereum with it's spaghetti code and congestion when they could go with a PoS protocol with next level tech? If I was planning my future where I would be investing in a new tech where billions or trillions would flow, I would be looking at how that would scale and make existing business better. Ethereum is not going to fit the bill without ETH2.0 and that is looking like they are going to be late to the market.
LOL you're a fucking dumbass
Eth has decentalized derivatives
Eth has decentralzied margin trading
Eth has lending protocols
Eth has incentivized rehypothication
and many more things
It is over. You're nano tier retards who think 'muh fast and free' can overcome the massive network effects and composability of ETH. You will probably get a moon from other dumbasses who see 'much cheap coins' but in real terms, Cardano is dead in the water.
This. Gas fees are making it expensive to use. Still faster than the dinosaur BTC, but that's not saying much. We need a real scaling solution. If ETH2.0 doesn't come quickly, there are greener pastures for developers and business to go to.
>> eth has tools that bring nothing of real value
okay buddy. lets see the average person do a flashloan. no one cares about that shit.
Yeah. He hangs onto the old Ron Paul Libertarianism a lot of us used to like. But I got "Blood and Soil" vibes from the last AMA. When asked why he didn't go be an ex-pat, he said because this is his home, the home of his father and grandfather and that he doesn't respect ex-pats. That's an evolution up from basic bitch lolbertarianism. He seems to be going in the right direction, but moving much slower.
It was amusing to see people in live chat who obviously either sympathize with BLM or are terrified of the cancel mob asking why Charles was talking about this and saying he needs to stop talking about politics.
