What's the meaning behind the different emoji's used in unusual whales tweets? I figure the police light means a particularly large order, but what does the Calendar mean?
Very bold, congrats user I’m happy for you. I’m still only making tiny gains, sold my measly BYFC for 200 gain

I still have 200 shares i bought around 3. Since they arent really a significant part of muh folio ill keep them around and see what happens. If i had a few thousand this would be the time i sell 80%.
Colton Thomas
Probably referring to the expiration dates of their option purchases / sales

Anything that isn't owned by China will plummet to zero, boomers would liquidate their retirements overnight, anyone with a brain would shuffle value to secure countries.
>daytrading pharma stocks user if KTOV actually has something they will 10x overnight or x-0.5 if it fails

>How do you feel about seeing investors, mostly younger people, turning to speculative trading to replace other forms of entertainment during the coronavirus lockdowns?
>Malkiel: I believe that for many of these people, it is a substitute for sports gambling. You know, in a way I am sympathetic. I don’t think there is anybody who devotes a life to studying and working on the stock market who doesn’t have something of a gambling instinct. I am the first to admit that I have gone to the horse races, I have sat at the tables at Las Vegas and Atlantic City, so I do not think there is anything wrong with gambling for entertainment. The problem that I see is that this is the diametric opposite to investing. For me, investing means buy and hold, as you said. The thesis of Random Walk was that you are much better off not buying individual stocks, but buying an index fund. To go and day trade and think that you are investing, that’s what I think is absolutely wrong and is likely to be simply disastrous for people. All the evidence is that day traders in general lose money. It’s not that they can’t make money in gambling, I’ve actually won from time to time. But over the long run, this is a losing proposition.
Every time the market looks definitively bearish, it shakes it off and goes green Every time the market looks definitively bullish, it pumps and slowly melts down
Remember late 2018?

Just bought Nucor Steel and an All Commodities ETF I think Commodities are going to moon like during 2008 recovery. How retarded am I ?
I fucking hate this lads. my job is preventing me from making money. I took some time off work (2 weeks) to day-trade and made more money from doing that then actually working. I'm quitting but still have to give a month's notice. I'm LOSING MONEY at WORK. FUCK.

that makes sense, it looks like all the siren posts expire this week, no emoji posts expire in the next three weeks and calendars expire later.
Samuel King
>anons pumping obscure stocks >said stocks rising and falling tens or even hundreds of percent in the span of a week >meanwhile half my portfolio is MSFT
have fun bros but I'm up 2% today, that's good enough for me
I get the jitters when im up so much on something i regard as a speculation. They post improving sales but nowhere near to profitability yet. They keep diluting but the market apparently likes that too.
Wyatt Reyes
>can’t day trade until September thanks to PTD rule >instead of cashing out with a healthy 20% return of $400 I’m stuck bag holding until tomorrow >this is for my “protection”
>TMF barely red >TQQQ mooning I am sorry doombullbros if I made the market boring for you. You don't get the rush of highs and lows. You just get gains.
i watch both of them and see which one catches up with the other, then i just use the faster one if i have a volatile trade. it's like that with the market, some people are getting info faster than we are so they usually come out on top with everything.
I am seriously about to dump everything I own into TQQQ and SOXL i'm sick of being left in the dust every day for months
Benjamin Davis
There's a public price and a private price. We're all seeing the public price which is strictly used in arbitrage for the people that actually control the market.
Cooper Rivera
Does anyone here actually have a "three martini" lunch?
SOXL also includes major ARM CPU manufacturers, so you're already basically hedged against intel being dumped on. AAPL might go to shit with the ARM shit depending on what they announce, so it's not a safe all-in. You could have went FNGU or TQQQ instead of AAPL if you thought the entire SOXL was going to dump though.
Jose Howard
What are you talking about? You're still allowed to sell whatever you hold even with the PTD restriction. If not, you have a clown brokerage or something
Cooper Fisher
delta is adding something like a 1000 flights in next month. you cant get into airlines on the short term. also
>Delta Air Lines Inc., bleeding cash because of the COVID-19 pandemic, expects to break even by next spring as rising demand prompts the carrier to continue restoring flights, Chief Executive Officer Ed Bastian said.

Basedbeans are going to run up here. There's no way the bogendoff's dump the price of basedbeans when there's chinks that are going to pay top dollar for these things.

JP morgan is fucking retarded.
"Unlike [the subprime crisis] the collateral portion of CLO's only make up about 5.8% of the economies GDP, where as housing made up 72% of the 2007 economy"
Yeah no fucking shit retards, that's because CLO's are a symptom not the actual bubble. Esoteric financial products are not vouge, of course they're not going to be huge. Corporate debt on the other hand makes up 48% of the US GDP and IS the bubble. Why do you think equities are going fucking bonkers and the fed is trying to buy up corporate debt.
Jesus christ can somebody tell them to stop jawboning so fucking hard. Are they unable to see how late stage cycle works or what. Fuking retarded.
Logan Allen
Well certainly, alcohol is haraam. Stabbings, not stately lunches are the order of the day there now.
