The loans are overcollaterialzed. The loans you see are a % of the total value. There’s zero chance a 1998 model of a car can have a loan of 6k. The actual value of the car must be over 8-10k. It’s either a straight up lie or the people doing the loans are purposefully overvaluing the cars and you’re purchasing a bubble that will pop. The dmm foundation does not offer any information on the % of loans behind payments, at risk of default, etc.
