What does the interface look like for someone banking with the fed?

anyone know or know where to look? is there an online banking platform like for retail banks? on the fed side, are they using bloomberg terminals or they have proprietary software? what's it look like? i can't find screenshots of any of this

I know they have Bloomberg terminals. The bank supervision group has access to bank balance sheets. Idk if there's a portal to the discount window or not for commercial banks
You'd be surprised at how mundane day to day life is there. Most people who work there have very little understanding of banks or the monetary system. It's only a few people at the top calling the shots

How has someone not made an extremely cheaper, improved version of a Bloomberg terminal yet? They’re 24 grand a year to own, for a bunch of boomer tier tech that isn’t that impressive anymore.

Yes, you go through the FHLB websites and I believe that there is fed website as well. There are different credit products and the bank needs to be a subscribers to both of these which costs a fuckton but there is a guaranteed 4-6% dividend for being a member.
