Truthpill: Confederacy fags got butthurt their business models didn't work w/o slaves, so they dedicated all of their resources to building inroads in politics and the ability to create legislation which allowed them to continue using slave labor. Most major corporations still use slave labor today. We call it "prison labor", and we have 10x'd the prison population in the last 20 years so we now have millions of slaves working for the largest corporations in America for nothing. We also have made sure that they stay predominantly black by imposing greater punishments for crimes that happen in poor neighborhoods than for those that happen in rich ones (e.g. crimes for cocaine vs. crack). Sadly, the "tough on crime" narrative Republicans created to enforce this agenda really resonated with the American public, because who doesn't want to be "tough on crime" and dems were forced to move to extremely centrist positions to get someone elected to office. This was Bill Clinton, who then had some very republican policies and made matters even worse and fed the prison system even further than his Nixon & Reagan counterparts. Hillary also contributed greatly. Today we have truly liberal candidates like Bernie but they don't stand a chance because Murikah still buys into all the corporate narratives, which are the same narratives oppressing black people and at the same time causing the extreme degradation of the middle class.
