Be sure to carefully read the links above to understand the project and check out the several medium articles and twitter anouncements (links on the official website).
Some tips on how to pool liquidity and help the project grow while collecting BAL and enjoying passive income: >use ETH or one of the other coins to pool, the excess of these coins is sold and STA is bought to balance it: STA price goes up >when pulling out, pull out in STA, the balancer will sell the other 4 coins and buy STA to make up the missing amount: STA price goes up
First: Why invest in a balancer pool? It can be a positive feedback loop of gains. Heres what to do. 1. Find a balancer pool. 2. Add liquidity to that pool. 3. Receive BAL weekly for your % of liquidity X Transaction Fees during your time in LP 4. Sell BAL for whatever Asset you want that’s in the LP. 5. Re-invest the asset you just got from your BAL sell. 6. Increase your % of LP and increase your BAL 7. Repeat Now what Balancing pool should you use? Id recommend STA: Why? It is equal parts STA, LINK, ETH, SNX, BTC. BTC is the gold standard ETH is ultimate use case Chainlink is innovation SNX is DeFi STA is moonshot Deflationary Token
STA TOKEN: It is a deflationary token that burns 1% of transaction. Within the LP the bot balances the pool to be equal value of 20% across the board. How to capitalize. 1. Use this pool. 2. Buy STA when low in price. 3. Add WETH to LP. 4. Get BAL rewards. 5. Sell Bal rewards 50/50 for STA and WETH 6. Pool WETH.
What will be happening is the balancing bot will sell your WETH to balance the pool and thus be buying STA. It will increase the price of the STA after you bought it. Plus the deflationary aspect just holding STA your % of TS goes up. By adding to the pool you increase revenue in which you can use to buy MORE STA and WETH to keep the cycle going.
>YOU CAN BUY STA ON BALANCER! since thanos has now plenty of sta you can also buy sta on balancer.exchange/#/swap , it's got less slippage than uniswap v2 at the moment
I think it varies, I'm not really sure how to check

So I've calculated the ROI of the balancer pools and (unsurprisingly) STA and STONK come out on top if we include fees + weekly BAL airdrops. Key factors for this include high volume to total pool liquidity ratio + high swap fee. This is true even if we received 20% less BAL because of potencial faggotry from the balancer team no wanting to whitelist us (currently it's whitelisted though so for now it's not a concern).
Current APR% for the main STA balancer is 125% (return per annum) (assuming we keep this volume to liquidity ratio and BAL price keeps being around 15$). This doesn't take into account potential decrease or increase in value of the tokens of the portfolio. If BAL decreases in price (very likely it's a do nothing shitcoin atm), since STA and STONK have the highest volume per liquidity * fees, the ROI% gap between both pools and every other balancer pool will increase, cementing these 2 pools as the top %ROI in fees (again not accounting for potencial decreases or increases in the values of the tokens in the portfolio themselves).
For reference this was calculated at 431,000$ liquidity and $53,000 24h volume with the 1% swap fee + $279,000 worth of BAL received per year (check here predictions.exchange/balancer/None )
So this was my due diligence and I'm thinking of doing a split 65% STA pool 35% STONK pool (even though STONK pool has higher ROI% it's tokens' value is much more risky).
I have a few hundred Link to add. What's the best option right now, considering we're still pretty much crabbing:
Add it all to the original pool Add it all to the new pool Split it 50/50 Swap it for Sta
?
Nolan Foster
Add it to the original pool or buy STA, or I guess you could trade it for BAL and add to the second pool, but I don't know the math on which one would be more beneficial. Buy STA if you expect it to moon soon, otherwise pool it
Brandon Carter
new pool is worse than original for both BAL airdrops (receive 25% less BAL because one of the tokens there isn't whitelisted) and there's no easy way to check volume for that pool yet until Balancer fixes their UI so we can't be sure we'll receive more fees on that pool. Could change soon though.

Thanks, Frens. I think I'll just add it all to the OG pool for now, and gain some more of that sweet BAL
Nolan Carter
Anyone tried using the single token option? I clocked "add liquidity" and it asked me to set up a proxy contract first, which cost about $5.50 in gas fees.
Gabriel Rogers
Haven't tried it yet since I don't have more money to pool, buy I used the etherscan method yesterday with no issues
Xavier Brown
I haven't faced those issues yet, but you should speak to the Balancer support on their discord /ARJWaeF
Isaiah Harris
Same here, what do?
Kayden Perry
then again, you do get some uniswap liquidity tokens airdroped each week for participating in the new pool, maybe that makes up for it.

I won’t lie STAlords it’s been a rough week but I’m still here and I’m still holding. Even managed to acoomulate a little more during this lovely dip.
Once again dark has fallen in Australia.
Goodnight and may those of you with strong hands keep the faith.
