>/smg/ is the titties >I'm here just sucking all the milk I can get >if you don't like it, it's your own fault
Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.
bros watching this shit day in and day out and making a decent amount on options and then losing it cus of some crabbing shit just isn't fun. I don't want to think about this shit anymore and I just want to dump some money into something. Can I just dump into TQQQ (or QQQ) and call it a day? or maybe a tech ETF?
West coast bros, how do you keep track of the market in the beginning of the day? Do you wake up at 6am to watch it open, or do you just set your limit orders and sleep in?

>WEN up today >WEN dividend in a few weeks >Scooped up some TWTR on a 8% discount from panic sellers
I went all in on something this morning right before it spiked and I was up 20%, $500, and 1/4th of my portfolio after being on a long losing streak. Been telling myself to TAKE PROFITS and I could have made it in and out in 10 minutes but no no no it will go higher. Now it's basically back to where it was.. might spike Monday but I feel dumb. I have poor self discipline it's hard.
I’m 24 years old and my net worth is the highest it’s ever been... I went in big on SHLL and WKHS. Making a ton of money gave me a rush but has left me just wanting more. Is this normal?
yea, thats dopamine. control it before it controls you

would that be more risky than just dumping your money into SPY, QQQ, etc? obviously just because SPY has been going up and up forever doesn't mean it will continue to, but still..
considering what little knowledge I actually have on anything, I think tech companies are going to continue to increase their holdings, revenue, etc etc - COVID aside. what's the best way to go long on tech in general?

I wish there was an alternative to /smg/. I hear about good stuff way earlier than reddit (which is STILL shadowbanning you from talking about WKHS for some reason) but the retarded tripnigger, Kpop spammer, and the schizo obsessed with urinating anime girls is obnoxious and also makes it feel so claustrophobic in the number of actual perspectives you get. But what else is there?

Oh shit I forgot to report in Bad
>it's hard. yep all we cam do is keep learning
Oh come on there's no pee in this one, and you guys weren't gonna make one anyways
I started with $1000 in February and added more money to make my account total $4500. Im up $1500 so far to date after some poor investments. How am I doing biz? fell for MITT, IVR meme stocks that im bag holding, hoping for a profit in a few years time but thats my current P/L. Need to learn to secure profits because I should have been $5000 up but didnt sell peaks

There are tech companies with good P/E like Intel and Cisco that probably aren't going to dump *as much* if the overall bubble pops.
