I don’t know if you’re speaking to alts or BTC but I’ll use BTC. Most assets will work
If there is more money trading hands, there is more inflation. If there’s is more money trading hands, more money will be invested (in all markets). If more money is being invested, more money is being invested in bitcoin. It is supposed to “float” with inflation and adjust to USD’s value. Meaning note USD = one BTC as USD inflated and BTC deflates in comparison
BTC currently fluctuates because of its supply. In theory, as BTC halves over and over, it’s new supply entering the market will near zero and it will not become as volatile, thus becoming a store of value
