>save for down-payment to stop being a rentcuck
>pool together food resources
Only downside is when it comes to dating.
Why else are more and more Millennials doing this? Rent too high and home prices too high?

I've been living on my own for 4 years. I'll be crashing at my dad's house for 6 months in the beginning of 2021. I'm thinking it's going to be very nice. No rent for 6 months, chilling with my dad and helping him around the house. I can do without sluts for 6 months.
oh look, more thinly veiled shilling and shitting on millenials. boring
>free rent
not for the children of most anglo-boomers kek
25/M/UK
Been living with parents since I came back from uni in 2018. Got a mid-tier job in software locally and save about 95% of my income, coming up on £45k by now.
Feels good man, but I haven't had my dick sucked since uni, my parents live way out of town and there's absolutely fuck all going on by way of my social life.
Aren't Millennials pushing 40 now?
Or does "Millennial" just mean "young adult person"
Depends on parents
Most boomers blow their money on endless holidays so you get a house to yourself for free
Just remember, when they die you get nothing and the bank evicts you.
My mom bought me a condo.
>Just remember, when they die you get nothing and the bank evicts you.
If your boomer parents don't own their house outright what the fuck have they been doing for the last 40 years?
I swear the fucking collective IQ on this board must be around 80.
>Just remember, when they die you get nothing and the bank evicts you.
How? they're boomers, meaning it's their house
My mom made me pay rent. Besides living with your parents is annoying as fuck, you feel too restricted.
Depends on the situation. My parents own a nicer, second home. I live in our original house and I usually have it all to myself except on rare occasions. I pay rent, but very cheap rent and don't have to worry about other shit like paying for electricity, internet, etc. I could put a down payment on a house if I wanted to, but the deal I have right now is objectively superior. Not leaving until they either force me out or I just end up buying the house from them anyway
>My mom made me pay rent.
she probably got tired of you freeloading. You were supposed to take on paying the electricity bill, buying groceries without being explicitly told, make lunch etc, and NOT act the same way you did when you were 10
those born in or after 1982 and before 2000 are all categorized as millennials by the us census bureau
census.gov
28-46 silent gen
46-64 boomers
64-82 gen x
82-00 millies
00-18 zoomers
its only a redpill if you save your money to make some investment or business thing. if you spend all your income at the bar as so many do then its not a redpill
millenials used to be called gen y, which is commonly believed to be children born in the 80s and 90s. this means they are roughly between 25-35 years old. gen y has lived through two sever financial crises, thus they are generally poorer than all other living generations when adjusted for age.
No. Your parents don't want you there.
naw, i fucked like 6 girls off tinder while living at home after my gf cheated on me while i was digging holes to buy her a house
then i memed so hard i started drafting blue prints for the company and bought my own place
women have literally zero discernible care whether i have a house or not
please listen
women are trash, never get it twisted Zig Forums
what millenials tend to be is more of little whiny bitches than all other living generations when adjusted for age.
I fuckin tired of seeing another millenial going
>oh, people expect me to pay for living in their apartment wtf
>oh, i borrowed money from the bank and they expect me to pay it back wtf
>oh, I want their house but they expect me to pay a lot of money for it wtf
t. Millenial
my parents charged me rent but really they just stashed it until it was enough for a down payment
Stop making this thread to cope with still living with your parents. It’s even more pathetic than actually doing it as an adult
How do you think retired boomers who spend all their money and never saved a penny in their life manage to finance their vacations and consumerist lifestyle?
Hint: it's not their pension/social security
Any bills you pay to help go to someone you like rather than paying some NEET landlord boomer.
Basically these. My parents didn’t by any means kick me out, but I moved out and have been giving (((them))) rent money because I’d legitimately rather just have less money and not live with them, than have more money and live with them.
Never forget that (((money))) is only a means to an end.
>free rent
>pool together
stop showing off your good parents piece of shit
The only thing I have a problem with is the cost of health insurance, it's a fucking racket. Housing is okay, though there are always some oddballs who want 150k for their shit shack. Food is okay if you know how to cook/shop, along with a lot of other things. Just dont get into debt unless maybe it's a mortgage you can comfortably afford, and you'll be okay. Fuck health insurance though 400+ bugs a month cause I may just get sick, and it goes up if you get seriously ill.
You're going to be seeing this a lot more over the next couple of years in the US. The depression is gonna be a big one. You can thank the Trump administration.
It only works if your parents aren't mentally ill hoarder boomers.
My parents kicked me out. After I graduated university I couldn't find a job and had to start paying my student loans and was already super broke from 6 years of school. I became homeless temporarily, and slept in my university library pretending to be a student still.
They refused to help out in anyway because its 'the only way I'll learn' even though the are multimillionaires and have a massive house. This was aroung August 2027. I got lucky and put almost all my money into shit coins as a gamble and it paid off so the situation didn't last that long
your parents hated u
do you have siblings?
Here in the Netherlands we import over a 100k+ hostile foreigners a year, which is more than we have in kids. There's already a massive housing shortage, but the racial replacement programs must go on according to the (((EU))). If you want a decent house, you are going to need 2 consecutive 30 year mortgages.
Pretty good deal right? You only have to work a measly 60 years to be able to get started with your life.
Yes one brother. He didn't have the same problem. I studied chemistry, while he studied CS and got a job right out of school. I didn't find a decent job until I learned to code several months later
I am a Pajeet from India. We always live with our parents, most of the time. If I want to bang a girl, we book a hotel or wait for our parents to go somewhere. Ahahaha
the best part is when your gov uses your own tax euros to buy houses for the refugees and drive the prices higher and higher
>Not fucking sluts with your dad
Cringe and prudepilled. Cant get a boner when there is another male around? You wouldnt last 3 seconds in jail.
You wont make it.
I’m 38 and moved home with my mom and her boyfriend after this whole covid shit started. I pay a tinder chick to suck my dick every few days but have to do it in the garage in my moms car in the back seat.
God that is comfy
Its out of respect, moron
I’m 24 and moved back in with my parents a year ago
>no rent
>parents are cool
>have the whole second floor when I bring home girls
>dad encourages me to save my money and keep investing
>dad takes me golfing all the time
>parents regularly go on 2-4 week vacations
>home gym with everything I could ever possibly need
Feels fucking good man
>implying no other generation does these things
