for years and years people have been collecting ASE's. its my understanding, world wide they're the silver coin with the most demand. and if you've ever seen the boomer meme, its pretty accurate boomers will literally just keep buying ASE's so its more about just knowing you can walk into any coin shop with a tube of ASEs and walk out with a decent stack of cash
but if you got a good relationship with your LCS and they say they'll buy generics from you when spot is ridiculous then go for it...
i'm loving the tubes of gold. when did all the crypto whales decide to start posting there stacks?

Okay I see your point, however when the price of a 1oz Maple Leaf is 1USD lower per coin that will hurt your yield over time. (currently on apmex) I live in Europe, here the Maple Leaf is the nr. 1 due to low premium, very closely followed by the Wiener Philharmoniker.
they're fleeing the crypto cancer boards like rats leave a drowning boat

I used to have a bunch of those little coins but I swapped them out for some 1oz philharmonics. Much easier to keep track off and they have a better resell value.

really leafs? i wonder if it has to do with tariffs. i know canada gets cheap booze from france, i wonder if the reverse is also true can canada send stuff to france without tariffs.
Elijah Taylor
but you havent switched Vrenelis for 1oz Phili did you? Vreneli everywhere on the world has a higher premium than any modern 1oz bullion
roo's are the cheapest. man i'm jelly i need another 15, 2020 kangaroo's and a perth mint tube, i impulsed bought 10 when they were on sale...

Not sure about "the world" but here in the US local dealers and online places like APMEX pay absolute shit on Swiss/French francs (about 10% below spot). But for modern 1oz govt issued gold coins they pay a lot better (basically spot). Also, the fact that it's a random AGW of .1867 makes it really hard to keep track of, and I had like 50 at one point. It's much easier to just say XXoz x spot to see what my stack value is.
Anthony Jackson
i would like input on this as well, in the US anything without english just doesn't have the same value. but i would assume they hold up much better in europe?
Colton Murphy
I'm assuming those are Swiss coins? Are the wooden tubes custom tubes or does the minter (Swiss Mint?) use wooden tubes as a standard? The wooden tubes look really nice.

I havent seen Vreneli under 5% premium for the last five years, very often they are 7-9% I bought mine from private for spot price but I had to buy a tube at once. French 20 francs are cheap often to be found under 2%. The cheapest coins in Europe are the 20 Kronen and 100 Kronen Austria, followed by Sovereign / 2 Rand and 50 Pesos Centenario (37.5g) Standard 1oz bullion coins the Krugerrand and the Maple are relatively cheap at 3-5%, American Eagle and Buffalo are priced higher.
I mainly stack 1oz Krugs, Pandas, and Phils, and they seem to hold value really well here in the US. I think Eagles and Maples are the most popular, but those three are usually right behind them in the APMEX popular gold. The old Swiss/French francs do seem popular in the US as well, the problem is the resell value was much lower for some reason, which I assume was due to the fact they aren't modern bullion with a standard size (ie 1/4, 1/2, 1oz).

> gold up 0.4% > silver down 0.4%
Jaxon Williams
They are custom made by some dude in switzerland, the swiss mint sadly is not interested in Vrenelis, they do soulless commemorative coins that will all end in the smelter one day
What are the best sites for 4th of july deals? Will I actually have to wait for the 4th? I feel the price of silver is gonna keep rising negating the sale but more=better anyways
Easton Williams
Thanks. LOL. That coin looks terrible. From my tiny screen, the person (?) looks like ET.
Mason Morgan
They are all going to have them. Apmex. SD, JM, Provident.
Brayden Evans
Is that your gold user?
