Can I get a quick rundown on SWIFT? Who the fuck are they and why does it matter that Chainlink is working with them?

How does a trillion dollars in transfers a day sound?
Chainlink is not working with them
You had 3 years
Go look in the archives newfag
Thats the scam user you figured it out. People who fall for this will be swiftly rekt

At this point, when Oracle is finalized, in use, and announced formally, we can finally come to the conclusion that SWIFT is 100% going to be using the Chainlink network.
Why?
Because Oracle wouldn’t integrate (note integrate, not partner) and funnel trillions of data through the Chainlink network.
Plus, by Oracle coming first, it allows the networks captured value to rise to a mid point to where SWIFT can then jump in the Frey.
Oracle is already announced Q3 this year

Link price eoy?
...
Does that make a sound?
It’s actually about 6 trillion per day
Imagine the smell though
Haha that alot of money, no way this world will let us losers have that much r-right?
SWIFT only profits 31m eur (almost 35m usd) a year in profit. 760eur in operating costs, so the MAX that switching to CL and it making logical and social sense (firing 3k employees, i chose 80% or 20% discount) would be about 2 dollars per year per link, or .68 cents fully diluted.
2 dollars EOY!
Ripple/XRP is going to kill this
You realize the majority of value of LINK doesn't come from the jobs performed but the collateral on nodes it represents to ensure contracts resolving with value in the millions to billions are secure?
Maik I know this is you, sorry buddy you backed the wrong horse
Stay poor zerp
Zerp still has a chance to bend the knee
Only after you kys
I don't think they even notice us desu. These big whales don't give a shit if some small fishes get to eat some planktons.
This, you have to remember in a few years it's dolphins turned to whales. Such is the nature of the game
In a few beers whales turn into dolphins.
Hellllooo reddit. Great brainlet tier take, right up there with the XRP retard.
You do realize there are already insurances in place against these failures that would be brought over right? That a failsafe system of a few dozen nodes would never fully fail. and therefore the penalty for a failure to report/tampered data will never have to actually cover a full transaction (it will only be a slap on the wrist, 5% of their 1/50 covering maybe 25-50% (jew insurance covers the rest)?
Ignoring all that and pretending your dumbass take is real, if CL takes over the entire swiftGPI platform (85% of their total traffic) and bumps the efficiency to the levels it promises (almost all transactions completed in

No one has answered the question of who the fuck is SWIFT and what do they do and why are they important. I've never heard of this company until I heard of Chainlink.
It doesn’t matter. Swift is using corda and Corda is not using chainlink. There is no connection here since that POC work they did for swift in 2017.
XRP is for chads
last year was 77trillion. assuming most banking is done on 5 day a week schedules id say 260 days last year or 300billion a day. that was with only 3500/11,000 of their banks though. prior to this they handled around 5trillion a day they are really only doing the smaller banks right now. they have claimed they plan to have all 11k members on swiftGPI by the end of this year though. chainlink has been confirmed to have built their oracles. no idea if they will be on the main chainlink network or the dreaded shadow fork
Why doesn’t swift come out and say they are using chainlink oracles?
SWIFT won't exist in 2 years

You are valuing it like a traditional stock P/E which is incorrect. Its a network/protocol and revenue valuations are faulty metric here.
No one knows what sufficient collateral will look like you are just assuming, and in the faggiest way possible, trying ooze your supposed intellectual superiority. I'm also all in LINK and have been DCAing since late 2017 through 2018.
You're assumption doesn't make any sense either because even if redundancy is being used to a large degree(which it will) and 1/100 nodes in the aggregated answer fails resulting in penalization, companies will still want complete monetary insurance. SWIFT won't be transacting millions/billions in value with out complete assurance. What if there is a total system failure in proper aggregation? Even once would be catastrophic.
You don't do anymore research than anyone else here. It wouldn't surprise me if nodes were required to have 100% collateralization for jobs they were performing because everyone will be hedging with derivatives in case of failure anyway.
Network isn't a company, you don't know shit.
