Did you know DGB can scale up to 40 million transactions per second, right now?

woops I meant per day lol.
>buying this garbage when ARK will be 30 fucking bucks by the end of the year
Delusional

Fucking cringe
is this the larp like it's 2017 again thread? buy raiblocks, blockchains suck balls
LOL what sort of retard buys a coin called antshares? the logo looks like it was drawn by a 6 year old
ARK had an ICO. its just big whales from the start dumping on you forever through staking. I held ARK at one point. if you bought above 5 cents dont bother with holding ark.
tfw jelly
Unlike a lot of projects, DGB actually is building, no wait, HAS built a great chain. decentralized, no ico.
I wish I bought some antshares desu.
Most secure chain. 5 different algos. Coinbase listing soon and without listing fees. By far the most organic altcoin
clean history, not an issue since inception in 2014, does not have a brute halving but a inflationo reduction of 1pc every month. the last DGB will be mined in approx 2035. The inflation rate right now makes it interesting.
What about the inflation rate? It’s a couple years behind Bitcoin no? Which makes it a few percentage points higher than gold for a couple more years ya?
I forgot what the current inflation rate of DGB is. But I am sure it is below 10pct annualized right now. Probably around 6pct. Anyway the important thing to know is that Digibyte has a gradual inflation/mining schedule. The inflation rate drops by 1pct every month which makes for a clean distribution. Since it has been around since 2014, most of the "big" inflation has already happened. The marketcap is pretty low for a project this accomplished. or you could say other projects are overvalued. Looking at, for example ADA, which had a presale only available to japanese people at $0.002 per ADA.. You can see how they can sell stake forever and ever whatever the rates. in terms of fairness and decentralization, DGB is truly decentralized from the start. Ethereum had a huge premine and I think up to 70 million ETH was sold in the ico/presales. ADA, 30 billion was sold in the ico/presale ( for extremely low prices to japanese investors only, wtf lmao )
Digibyte is one of the few projects tagged "decentralized" on coinpaprika
62% are circulating now. So 38% left to be mined. Over 15 years, in 2035 the last block will be mined. So 38/15 is 2.6% inflation over 15 years. And from then on inflation drops to 0.
ok yes but you want to calculate the annualized inflation rate, we know that the anual inflation rate for bitcoin right now is 2 percent viewbase.com
So then any asset that has an inflation rate higher than maybe 6 or 7 percent annualized is potentially a bleeding asset in this market. keep in mind that ERC20 assets that have been "printed out of thin air" where the team / foundation holds a big amount is just hidden inflation. which is very dangerous. if you want to get stuck with bags, buy assets where the team holds a lot of them, like XRP
Link and proof?
fuck bros.
pic related.
ok so this site is not up to date.
current block reward for DGB is 639.5917632 per block.
ok so when I calculate it its between 3 and 4 pct annualized which is pretty nice.
Easier to attack
No. They have auto difficulty adjustments for every block unlike bitcoin. Also five different algos. Unlike bitcoins 1
DGB is actually harder to attack than Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is not the safest anymore for quite some time. Actually Dash ( also a bitcoin fork is safer now that it has implemented chain locks / anti 51pct tech )
they recently upgraded to a even better algoritm "odocrypt" that self adjusts itself I think every 10 days.
dgbwiki.com
Odocrypt is a unique GPU / FPGA-friendly hashing algorithm made specifically for DigiByte that changes itself every 10 days as an anti-ASIC method.
Blog post from Jared Tate (founder of DigiByte) regarding DigiByte v7.17.2 Odocrypt Algo Fork
Choosing FPGA hardware
FPGA mining
How does Odocrypt work?
Odocrypt uses the Keccak algorithm (SHA3) for its hashing function, as it is a relatively streamlined and low-memory requirements (Perfect for all common FPGAs). It changes the hashing details every epoch (10 day time-period) based on the new seed. This change occurs at midnight UTC. When the epoch changes, the miners must compile a new .sof file (analog of a binary executable for the FPGA CPU) and program it on to the hardware. During this time, there is a 2-hour period prior to the midnight of the epoch in which the blockchain will accept the new epoch settings and / or the old epoch settings. This gives all miners a chance to re-optimize their settings and reprogram their FPGA's, without causing immediate issues in the overall hashrate for the algorithm, despite automated re-programmings taking only a matter of seconds in most instances. Once reprogrammed the FPGA uses the new seed as it's base, which is required in order to maintain the 'optimized' settings. Without this, the FPGA will be churning out invalid hashes and have an effective efficiency of zero.
Forget these plebs, OP. /biz isn't worthy.
I did buy antshares and I got out at like 12 dollars thinking I made a killing, then proceeded to browse rope
Oh my gosh it's the lazy town poster
I think the different mining algos is great. It helps keep the miners from becoming a rogue element like has happened sometimes with bitcoin. Also, it would be great if proof of stake algos could be added, so that it's even more balanced.
I am an important node in the Zig Forums hivemind. whatever I like, Zig Forums will like. I like DGB. Biz will like it.
This is a weird thing to say... shill post much?
considering that I make more money by posting about my coins than being in the wagecage. yes. I do shill post much. but I only shill gems.
I would advice XMR and DGB right nw.
Well, I like that you're shilling good ones.
